Went for a Tapas evening... And several lunches!
Totally delicious, genuine tapas and authentic Spanish dishes.Everything is totally packed with flavour... Full on yum! Whether you go for little individual tapas or a sharing platter, you will not be disappointed.
The tapas evenings are only once in a while, so keep your eyes peeled for dates. The menu is set for the evening and plentiful... Just sit back and enjoy as dishes are brought out during the course of the evening. You will not go home hungry!
You don't even need to go in to eat, you can buy bits from their deli to take home or in the summer order one of their picnic hampers and eat on the beach.
Great selection of drinks from teas and coffees to wines and beers.
The decor is intimate, light and airy with about 10 wooden tables and chairs. Each table has a little pot of herbs, which not only looks pretty but smells fresh and fragrant.
There is an outdoor seating area where you can watch the world go by... Great for people watching.
If you like the taste of the Mediterranean, get yourselves down there!

My first visit to Comemos and I was impressed. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great service and excellent coffee. I'm not a vegan but I tried the vegan sausage roll and it was so flavourful. Will definitely be returning.

Comemos was such a great surprise find because of a general want for more variety when it comes to diverse eateries. Most of the food is made from scratch in house and the quality and taste are of fine quality. The coffee deserves a special mention as I am yet to taste better coffee in Folkestone. The owner is a very nice and friendly person with a passion for good food. There are healthier options as well for health conscious people, although I found the whole menu to be healthy. I will definitely visit again...

Went here this morning for the first time for breakfast. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of cooking. Best quality breakfast I have had for a while. Would definitely recommend for anyone who fancies a good breakfast. The coffee was also pretty good, not amazing, but above average.

Came here for 1st time with partner, son, sons girlfriend, food was very very good very fresh and flavoursome, and plenty of it. People who served us were very pleasant and didn't rush us to leave when we had finished our meal. Would highly recommend and we will be going back.

Exceptional food and good value. Had their eggs Benedict with Spanish twist. I love eggs Benedict and wasn't sure of it being on sourdough... but it was a fantastic combination and a wholesome breakfast. Delicious.

Have only been in here at lunchtimes and have found the food delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient, the cafe very clean. It serves Spanish style dishes and I recommend the open sandwiches.
It also does a variety of toasties, salads and the like. It has very unusual mixtures in the sandwich fillings, but they all seem to work. It has extensive tea and coffee lists. It also seems to be child friendly. The cafe also sells produce, e.g. superior preserves, honey and coffee beans.

Handy to view the Wiilam Wilberforce plaque a short distance to the east and Hattie Jacques on the other side of the road, to the west.

Walked in off the street today with my 4 year old daughter and dog. Great experience overall, food was top notch as was the customer service. Owners even looked after our dog whilst I took little lady to the bathroom. We will return soon.

Fabtatsic cafe on the High Street in Sandgate. Service is always friendly and accommodating. Food is fast and good quality! Great coffee and love the atmosphere here! Definitely a favourite!

Great little place, good food, great customer service. Our baby was crying, Mo came over and stood and held him so my wife could eat her lunch.

Best coffee for miles and very reminiscent of true Spanish coffee. Very good choice for breakfast, so too lunch, or just snacks. Excellent service, friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended!

First time visiting today picked up some very tasty baguettes while out on a walk with my son will definitely be returning especially to try the very nice looking cake 😊
