Fantastic cottage in a wonderful setting . Spacious cottage with everything provided for you. Most important to me is the safety of my dogs . Large enclosed paddock and a secure woodland walk which was perfect. Dog friendly beaches not too far away. Lovely family run business.

Beautiful area with easy access to many local amenities and places. Excellent barn converted cottages of 3 different sizes made dog friendly in every way.

The owners were very pleasant and accommodating upon our arrival.
The cottages interior simply blew me away.
Perfect to come to after a 6 hour drive.

The well maintained cottages have TV and free WiFi.
Free coffee!/tea.

Plenty of space to excercise the dogs with easy access to an adjoining well maintained grassed and secure paddock.
This then adjoins to a private secure wooded area to excercise the dogs further.
If you wish to chill outside each cottage has its own secure patio area with tables and chairs.

Ample parking accessed by a very narrow lane which are par the norm in this area.

All in all very happy with the accommodation and the area is so beautiful and quiet and very little traffic on weekdays.

Can't really fault this place for the dogs. Stayed in dog friendly accommodation in the past but this is the zenith of the lot.

Will hopefully be returning.

Lovely cottage with everything you could possibly need.

Super location and excellent for dogs with an enclosed area outside the cottages for them as well as lovely Woodlands for them to run around in safe and secure.

My dogs wanted to move in!

Looking forward to returning next year.

We had a fantastic week here unfortunately it rained a lot so a bit muddy but the outside dog shower came in handy. The cottage ( badger) was lovely and clean when we arrived and having the milk tea and coffee available really helped after a long journey. We booked a tesco delivery slot for when we arrived I definitely recommend doing this saved a lot of room in the car. Unfortunately because of the weather we never got to see much of the sights but having a woods and a field on sight helped exercise the dogs so they didn't get too frustrated.
The owners was wonderful and helpful and everything was explained.
we have booked again for next year hopefully with better weather.

Just back from a week away with my husband and our 6 dogs, stayed in Swallow cottage. What can I say, spotless, comfortable, fully equipped cottage in the most beautiful location with views to die for, lovely paddock outside for the dogs to exercise in and the woodland walk was their absolute favourite. There were 3 cottages together with a total of 14 dogs between us which was lovely. Plenty of stunning scenery and dog friendly beaches nearby, Torrington Common with its woods and river to walk through - just a perfect holiday. Hosts on hand and friendly but completely unobtrusive. If you have dogs and want somewhere they can have a great time where you can relax and just enjoy the time away, you wont beat this place.

Even in the rain, the wind and the hysteria of "viral apocalypse", this was a dream come true break for us. As a millennial couple whose limited funds go to spoiling our four dogs (greyhounds and whippets), we were hard pressed to find a multi-dog-friendly holiday which didn't wipe out our wages!
This place isn't just dog-friendly: it's dog-centric. From the huge paddock and woods with stock-proof fencing not even our bounciest whippet could conquer, to the easy-clean stone floors and leather sofas, everything has been designed to let your pups have an incredible time while leaving you stress-free and loving it.
We stayed in Owl Cottage, which was clean, cosy and had views to send your socks flying. It was well equipped - perks included cafetiere, hair dryer, big, fluffy towels, books, board games and the most comprehensive info pack we have ever had the pleasure of reading. Vets and dog-sitter details included!
The hosts were informative and friendly without being intrusive. We will definitely be staying again... Our pups demand it!

We have just come back from a last minute 4 day break, and we have to say that this holiday was the best we had ever had with the dogs. The accommodation is superb excellently thought out for us and the dogs. The cottage was extremely clean and modern. The bed was extra comfy!! and we had the luxury of a TV in our bedroom a first in any of our holiday cottages we have stayed in before. Both dogs were very relaxed and absolutely loved the doggie walk. No need for any leads which is great, less stress for us! Alison and Tim are very friendly and very helpful, any problems and they sort it straight away. We can't wait to go down there again in September and then we have booked to go again next June. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone who want a stress free holiday with or without their dogs.

Everything a dog lover could ask for. Lovely area for them to run around in front of the cottages. Enclosed walk around the woods which Tilly loved. Great views from the garden of the surrounding countryside. If you want to have a holiday with your dog book this place.

Simply beautiful and a doggies paradise. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Very lovely and friendly owners including one of their dog Drax who is the star of the show. He comes and checks on the guest everyday to make sure that everybody is having a lovely time. We had a beautiful time. Could not fault it. Was lovely. Xx

What a gem of a holiday place. The 3-cottage barn conversion is very well proportioned giving 3 very usable spaces. Each is well appointed with decent furniture, cooker, TV, washer, dishwasher, shower rooms, microwave and good crockery. It's just been taken over by new owners and although the place is already ideallic they are still trying to think of things to improve. They were very friendly and very keen to make our stay perfect. It's our 3rd stay and for us with 4 dogs it is heaven-sent, although with dramatic views, great local walks and easy access (20 mins max) to stunning beaches at Instow, Crow Point or Saunton Sands you don't need dogs as an excuse to stay here! We will definitely be going again.

The cottages are in a very peaceful and picturesque place but not far from the coast. Lovely woodland walk which the dogs are really enjoying. Just so relaxing.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Swallow Cottage for my mums 60th, 6 adults and 4 dogs with everything we could need and more. When they say dog friendly, they mean it! Absolutely everything is thought of for dogs which is amazing! It was so nice just to be able to let the dogs out into the shared little field for them to have a roam around and not worry about them getting out. The same with the woodland walk which is fully enclosed too, the dogs loved it. We also loved the little outdoor shower for the dogs, it made washing them down really easy! It is the best dog friendly cottage we have stayed in by a long way and we have been to a few! We would 100% recommend for dog families and will definitely stay again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
