Danny, Matt and Frasier are fantastic Barbers and make you feel welcome with their great attitude and charm. Have no bad words to say against them. Shop is modern and nice place to be. Would recommend to any who want a relaxed place to get a wicked haircut.

The first barbers I’ve ever felt comfortable being in, as a transgender man I have always felt getting my haircut to be very daunting but never at brooks. Matt is very friendly and is always great to go in and have a catch up whilst getting a sick trim! He’s helped to form my mullet and has transformed my hair :)

Frazer is both witty and banterous… and of course he can cut hair excellently too all for a good fair price.

Tell your Mums to put away their basin bowls and nip down to Mr Barber in Chelmsford for a decent trim from Frazer, Danny and Matt (all at the same time if you want! No job is too big)

If you enjoy dodgy haircuts hot towels massages limp wrists and perms… THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE. But if you have being looking for a real barber who knows how to work a pair of Wahl Clippers, get a fade, shave and walk out more manly than when you came in… THAN THIS IS YOUR PLACE. When you walk in and are greeted by the three musketeers aka the 3 brillant barbers just take a moment, savour it and savour one of the few places where you can truely be yourself and let go of all of your problem and thoughts for a few hours and truely feel at peace like Martin Luther when he had a dream. Had my hair and beard done by Danny. Did a very good job. Was my first time there. Appointment was on time. Nice chilled place to get your hair cut and have a good chat about things too. Also very welcoming. Will be back there for my next one!

I went for a cut at Mr. Barbers Chelmsford this afternoon, and it's arguably the best cut and barbering experience I've had.

I was greeted at the door made a brew, and felt right at home right away. The shop looks and feels great, a very chilled out atmosphere and a chance to relax.

Jackson took great care and attention, giving me options for how I'd like my hair. He really took his time to ensure it was spot on, it's a refreshing experience to feel like there is no rush, and it will take as long as is necessary to be perfect.

Highly recommended, by far and away the best barbers in the city and likely beyond.

I've been here a few times and I've received nothing but 5 star service every time. The guys here are all extremely talented with the clippers and are what you'd want from your barber.

This was specific review pertains to my first cut there since we've come out of lockdown and I was impressed with the measures they've taken to ensure that everyone's health is of paramount importance whilst getting a cut.
