Very reasonably priced food and drinks. They also sold paddle boards, surf boards and other beach essentials.

Cappuccino was pretty good. Cakes looked delicious

Called for lunch and the terrace had been taken over by a film crew who were filming a new series of Pilgrimage. Our drinks were brought promptly but our food order got lost in the confusion of film crews demanding drinks as props! When I queried the delay the staff were really apologetic and fetched more complimentary drinks and extra chips when they brought the order.
The food was excellent, the staff were lovely and it was entertaining to watch ‘celebrities’ being filmed. Highly recommend!

Mid morning tea and cake. Great location. Sat outside and enjoyed the view of the empty beach. The scone and ginger cake were delicious and obviously fresh.

Loved the food and location ! Right by the beach , good choice of different meals , not expensive at all but you may not be able to sit by the table on the busy day , still very convenient to have such cafe with really nice food at the beach !

We walked from Aberdaron to Porthor Whistling Sands 6.7 miles there and back. We went to the cafe for lunch, i had baked potato with cheese and salad, my brother had Spicy bean burger with chips and salad. My potato was massive, and cooked just right and my brother said his meal was also delicious and the portions were huge. We also ordered the Blueberry scones and paninis to take out. Once back in Aberdaron we had the scones, theyre the best weve ever tasted, so full of Blueberries and packed full of flavour. I highly recommend visiting this lovely cafe at Porthor you wont be disappointed and try the scones.

Visited today. This is our second time here and both times have been excellent. Plenty of seating inside and out (weather permitting). Views are stunning! Good choices on menu and at the high end of reasonable. We just had 2 x Latte, blueberry scone and lemon drizzle cake. Wow, they were amazing. Came in at £10.10 which we felt was a good price. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cafe in superb apt looking out to sea at Whistling Sands. Good selection of food and drinks with all the usual favourites. Service is good and quick to clear empty tables.

The coffee was excellent. The blueberry scones were even better. Definitely recommended.
What a great location for a cafe, overlooking the best beach on the peninsula.

I have been coming here since I was a child and eating their cornish pasties, and today's was as enjoyable as ever. And a delicious ice cream to follow, on one of the best beaches on the peninsula. Well worth a visit!

Very helpful staff who helped with a solution for my disabled husband to access the cafe. Dog friendly also ! I had the best cheese and onion toastie with soup followed by the most amazing ice cream. Had take away scones as they looked delicious also. Perfect location on the beach, nice and cosy out of the cold wind but beautiful views of the sea. Highly recommended !

Unfortunately the cafe was closed but I can only imagine in summer must get a lot of traffic. So conveniently placed just off the beach which is stunning by the way! Would love to visit on a nice warm day!

It's a typical working men's club, cheap beer, friendly atmosphere, great parking. Food was delivered in.

Service with a smile and cheery chat. Fabulous cake selection and the biggest scones I've ever seen all at very reasonable prices. Breakfasts and lunches as well. Views from the terrace across this most beautiful beach and bay. Car park free for National Trust members or £5 for non-members. Toilets in car park and down by cafe.

Very friendly Staff! We arrived 10 minutes before closing time after a long walk on the West Coast Path, but the lady in the Cafe couldn't have been nicer when serving us with latte coffees and ice-cream. The home made cakes looked delicious and we were tempted, but made do with the ice-cream. Even though the staff were clearing up the tables and chairs outside, she said we could stay as long as we wanted to finish our drinks What an advert for the friendliness of the Welsh!

We visited the cafe whilst staying near Porth Iago and came across it along the Wales Coastal Path. The freshly made sandwiches, toasties and cakes are the nicest we've tasted and the coffee was perfect! The staff are friendly and attentive and well, the views onto the beach are stunning!! We will be returning 😋
