Visited the Woodlands and stayed for 2 nights, lovely rooms and a cracking breakfast. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Had a fantastic evening meal and the chef was so accommodating as my wife has allergies that he catered for. We were both very impressed with the bar area and the lovely outside terrace. The whole experience was fantastic we will defiantly visit again. Many thanks to you all.

Stayed for just one night a couple of weeks ago. Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable room. Food was really good and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel has an indoor play area for children and a huge patio with comfortable seating and gorgeous views. A great hotel for families and business users alike. Very good value for money - highly recommended!

We stayed for one night to attend a storytelling event in Rhoshirwaun. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and polite, and the breakfast excellent. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location.

I came here with my family quite by accident because all the campsites turned out to be closed. A wonderful restaurant with a place for children, delicious food, clean toilets. The restaurant owners were very nice and allowed us to stay overnight in the parking lot next door. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

Attended an 80’s party night plus chicken in the basket last night, absolutely fantastic night all round . Hotel beautiful, food and disco evening amazing. Hosts and staff just lovely. Thank you so much . Can’t wait for the next party on 14th October 2023. We are oldies yet still buzzing from a great memory lane experience. Xx

Had a meal here on recomendation of the person I baught a motorbike from whilst collecting it. We stayed in a sykes cottage in the village, which was also very plesant. Cider was exellent with a fair selections of beer/lager on also and the food was the best I have had for a long time. Wife could not eat all of hers as was too much to eat! or we are getting old! The price was competative acording to the wife, but I am a Yorkshireman, so anything over a tenner is expenxsive! Yes it is reasonably priced and very good quality.
The young girl taking orders and serving the food was very attentive and very polite. A credit to the Hotel ( i even gave a £5 tip! and I am a Yorkshireman!) I can imagine this place a heaven in the summer months with the outside terrace and the views. We had forgotten how beautiful this area is as not been here for over 35 years.
If you are arroubd here, thry it for a nice meal. You will not be dissapointed. Thank You to the joung Lady, The Lady managing the bar and the Chef who I didnt meet. Keep it going.

It's not a 5star . Rooms are a good size and clean but are showing signs of wear but they have everything you need for a good night's sleep good showers. Evening meals are really good plenty of food and a great choice and breakfast was equally as good. Nice quiet location

We came in for drinks and evening meal when passing through the area in our Motorhome.
The hotel is easily accessed down a quiet Lane and has a good sized flat carpark.
There are clearly ongoing renovations.
We were made welcome by the friendly staff and owner.
The family area was busy as the weather was dreadful.
We sat in the quieter main restaurant.
We enjoyed a very nice meal with wine from a good menu/list and had a peaceful overnight stay.
Thank you.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, warm and newly decorated, the shower particularly good, plenty of hot water and a great power shower. An extremely comfortable bed and a delicious, generously portioned, cooked breakfast in the morning. Plenty of parking, beautiful part of the country. Enjoyed our stay!

Excellent location.
A wonderful place to take a break from the bustle of the city and travel. I guess the main business is restaurant's.
Halls/rooms are settled for this.
I also believe that this place can be rented for festive events.
On a summer evening, after a hot day, you can spend in the Orchard by the main building, contemplating the open landscape with the mountain in the distance.
The room I was staying in suited my needs. Not bad for single traveller. Freshly refurbished and I guessing the process in progress still... The new entrance door will be fitted for each room.
Onwer welcoming guests.
Lovely people!!!
Lovely place!
Definitely would stay again!

Slightly isolated amongst many fantastic locations, car essential. The owners, Nerris you are brilliant, and staff are fantastic. The food was wholesome and always enjoyed. I would recommend this for a great break away from the stresses and daily pressure. Drinks on the balcony in the late afternoon took me back to what is important. I did foud the young man chasing sheep around the field hilarious. Must visit again.

My dog and I were made very welcome. The room had recently been refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really good. I would happily recommend this hotel and will be booking to stay there again myself in the future. As a dog owner I appreciated the secure setting that meant I was happy to leave my dog in the car ( in a cage with the tailgate open!).
