Bwthyn Creigiau Holiday Cottage

Booked this a year ago and did not regret it. A lovely cottage in a quiet and peaceful location, with genial hosts David and Clare. Everything you needed was available, lots of good advice on places to see, visit and eat at. The original weather forecast of rain for 6 of the 7 days actually became one wet day the whole week, a welcome change which helped make the break great. Highly recommended.

Beautifully comfy cottage and so clean. David and Clare were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help with recommendations of where to go, and what sights to see. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a well needed rest in wonderful Wales. Would highly recommend and hopefully we can return one day.

The holiday cottage is such an amazing place to stay, it has everything and more . Very luxurious inside and out . The gardens , views and peacefulness surrounding the cottage is heaven .
Location is ideal as you are tucked away in the middle of the countryside , but only ten mins drive to the nearest beach, bay and town .With easy access to major routes making very easy to go tour around Wales .

Claire and David was the perfect hosts, they go above and beyond to make your stay so comfortable ,even down to leaving you every bit of information possible about the local area.

Lovely week. Accomodation was amazing. Comfortable,warm,cosy and very clean. It was the first time away with mum being more reliant on her wheelchair and walker and she coped very well. With the facilities she was actually able to get a bit of independence back. Clare and Dave are fabulous. Nit that you'll need anything but if you do they are always happy to help. A very friendly couple was lovely talking to them. Highly recommended.

We can highly recommend this warm, exceptionally clean and comfortable cottage with its well-equipped kitchen and tranquil setting. The owners, Clare and David, who live next door, are helpful, friendly and discreet and sensitive to the needs of their guests. There is a variety of things to see and do for all age groups in this quiet part of Wales: my elderly parents particularly enjoyed the lowland coastal walks at Llansteffan and Laugharne, the peace of the National Botanic Garden of Wales (entry tickets valid for 7 days) and National Trust parkland at Dinefwr. And we have never seen so many ruined castles.

This cottage was beyond even our expectations, it has everything . The cottage itself is tastefully done and everything about is quality. Very clean and well equipped. The setting is tranquil and many beautiful places to visit.
Clare and David are very friendly and helpful with plenty of information about places to visit and also where to eat out, without being obtrusive at all. We highly recommend this property.

Amazing house in beautiful surroundings! A lot of thought, effort and care has gone into this brilliant holiday home by its wonderful owners. The house was homely, relaxing, full of quality furniture and gadgets and I think the cleanest property I have ever stayed at.
We had a fantastic stay, the property exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to come again, massive thanks to David & Clare for a wonderful stay!

The cottage is set in idyllic gardens and is very peaceful. We loved breakfasting in the sun and cosying up in the evenings, listening to the owl. Clare and David are excellent hosts, they cater for your every need and the cottage was well equipped, stylish and spotless. Llansteffan is just a short drive away and is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. We will definitely be coming back!

We all had a great holiday in superb accommodation in a brilliant location. The property well deserves it's five star rating. The exterior and interior of the property are beautiful and the contents are all of excellent quality. The well maintained gardens are lovely and we really enjoyed sitting in the sensory garden watching the butterflies and bees. The owners are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would strongly recommend this holiday accommodation."

Bwthyn Creigiau is a fantastic cottage, and probably the nicest we’ve stayed in. It was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The children loved playing with the games and puzzles provided, and playing and exploring outside in the beautiful gardens. One of our children is disabled and although he can manage without his wheelchair indoors, it was handy to have everything he needed on the ground floor. The cottage would be ideal for wheelchair users with the wet room and spacious twin bedroom downstairs.

There’s loads to do nearby - we visited the huge sandy beaches, castles, National Botanic Gardens, Llanelli wetland centre, Gwili steam train, Folly Farm, Colby Woodland Garden and Pembrey Country Park, most of which are within 30 mins drive from the cottage.

Wonderful cottage, very clean and full of the essentials you would need. A true home from home in a quiet ‘off the beaten track’ surrounding. A delight to hear the birds and owls. David & Clare excellent hosts providing attention to detail. Thank you both

Our second time at this lovely cottage. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality place to stay in this beautiful but overlooked part of Wales. The owners are on hand and very welcoming but discrete.

what a wonderful cottage hideaway in peaceful setting within the beautiful west wales coastline ,the cottage itself has everything you need to unwind and relax .the design and cleanliness of the cottage is a credit to the owners David and Clare .i would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay.

Wunderschönes, sehr sauberes und geräumiges Ferienhaus, das wirklich sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Es ist Rolli-tauglich und somit ein perfektes Domizil, auch, aber nicht nur, für körperlich eingeschränkte Menschen. Der Garten ist ein Traum! Die Vermieter unglaublich nette Leute. Ich empfehle dieses Ferienhaus unbedingt.
