Furniture Village - Farnborough

We first frequented this store on New Year’s Day (‘24) after visiting many other sofa stores.
We dealt with Darren who was very good. He knows his stuff, listens to what you want as a customer and helpfully suggests styles, features, colours and materials without being pushy.
We found our perfect sofa but couldn’t make a firm decision on colour, so we left but ordered some samples on-line which once they arrived a few days later really helped make our choice for us.

We have since returned to the branch to order the sofa through Darren - Only fair as he spent the time with us advising/selling a couple of weeks back.

I should say that out of all the sofa/furniture stores at this retail park Furniture Village impressed us the most with the presentation in general, cleanliness, easy-going salesman etc.

Following a recent visit and purchase at the store we revisited to look at some of the pictures and art work we previously saw and was greeted by Derek Spittle. A good humoured man who was keen to assist and help in what we wanted. Like our previous visit the experience was amazing as walking into a shop and having somebody wanting to help you is a somewhat alien in today’s society. I would highly recommend Furniture Village and its amazing staff. Mr & Mrs Meade

We had a really great experience with Derek at furniture village. He couldn't have been more helpful and went above and beyond without pressuring us into making a decision. We are notoriously indecisive as a couple and Derek really answered all our silly questions and helped us come to a decision, again without being pushy!
Would really recommend furniture village to anyone looking for a new sofa!

After a very good recommendation from a friend we came to Furniture Village to purchase a 3 seater Sofa and 2 chairs.Syan Satwinder the sales consultant was excellent and very helpful and aloud us plenty of time to view the store and gave us good advice. The store manager was very good and helped us with the finance.The coffee and biscuit was good too !! Highly recommended this furniture store.

We recently bought a sofa from Furniture Village in Farnborough. We were really happy with the sofa itself but also with the staff and overall customer service.

When we first visited we were helped by Darren and on the second visit Chris and Mary. It was really nice to walk into a shop and not be pounced upon by a member of staff pushing and desperate to make a sale, instead the first thing we were offered was a drink. (The hot chocolate by the way is lovely and worth a visit for that alone).

The staff really were friendly and welcoming and quickly put you at ease, they made good rapport by being friendly and listening without being over familiar or pushy. They were also happy to leave you alone if you wanted some time and didnt spend the whole time following you round. They were a credit to Furniture Village.

We were shown some different sofa options and they really listened to what we did and didn't want and it took only 3 tries of a sofa to match us with exactly what we were looking for. They didn't mind how many questions we had (even the stupid ones) and made sure to give us straight and honest answers, even if that meant highlighting a certain sofa wouldn't be best for us. This was really reassuring because it's quite easy for sales people to push you towards the most expensive option but this wasn't the case, it was all about what was right and the cost came later. Although the prices were visibly displayed so there weren't any big surprises.

They talked us through the pricing options and delivery and there was no pushing us into a decision. We visited a few other companies who kept reminding us when the sale was ending and took our details, they called numerous times to follow up and it became quite off putting, there was none of this with furniture village.

The purchase of the sofa was quick and easy, the aftercare advice was brilliant with tips on how to get the best out of your sofa and product support information for when it's needed.

Really happy with the sofa we chose and really glad we went with Furniture Village. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

I had an amazing experience with this store. I recieved help from Mohsin and Sarah.Very helpful, professional and excellent customer service. I purchased a recliner corner sofa. I would recommend you to visit the store. Excellent reasonable prices and the customer service was outstanding.

Very impressed with Syan, she took a lot of time with us to provide a really good deal for a bed. This is the second time have used the Farnborough store and dealt with Syan and her excellent customer service and will be sure to use her again.

Today I purchased two bar stools at your store. Your customer service agent Cris Sargeant served me and the shopping experience was really enjoyable. I felt not pressurised at any time and I feel I was well advised and he was professional and courteous throughout.

Very helpful staff at FV Farnborough on my recent visit. I had popped in whilst waiting for tyres to be fitted to my car and was browsing dining tables when a sofa caught my eye for our new home. The staff here were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. My order was processed on finance immediately, everything was clearly explained including delivery times and costs.

We visited the farnborough branch yesterday and received an excellent customer service from one of the sales consultant named ALEX when buying our new bed & Mattress. He was extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable & patient, he allowed us to browse at our own pace and gave us plenty of time to choose, he made us aware that he is available when we were ready. All in one, A very pleasant & relaxing purchase. Thank you ALEX for your great help and advice.

Great service from Mo. I was left in peace to browse and found the perfect sofa after looking for ages. All my (many) questions were answered knowledgeably. I was able to sit for a good while to try out the sofa and was even brought a coffee. Thanks Mo and Furniture Village.

Derek was brilliant.
He was there as we worked our way around the store advising us from his wealth of knowledge about the various sofas.
Without pressure, he helped us narrow down our options so that we were ordering exactly what was right for our needs.

Excellent service by Sales Manager Chris Bottom. We were not 'stalked' and allowed to walk through the store freely but he was excellent when we were ready to ask questions. He made the ordering process simple and at no time did we feel pressured.

We have taken delivery of the sofa and it delivers everything that Derek said it would.
