The Church Street Surgery

Im shocked at all the negative reviews. I have been with church street for years & my son is too. We have always been seen within 1 / 2 days MAX! Most of the time we are asked to come within the same day, Dr Niwa ( i may of misspelt her name ) is amazing. My son is autistic & non verbal she was so gentle & kind towards him & very patient. She referred us to Worcester riverbank & we was there for a week & there clearly was an issue which got resolved. They do care for their patients. As a NHS worker myself I understand how stressful it is so I will always understand any problems but Im still yet to have a problem with this surgery.
As with the negative reviews people need to be patient & understand more, all these doctors are just human like the rest of us.the NHS has changed & this isn’t their fault

I have needed appointments for myself and my son over the past couple of weeks, I have used the online consultation form and both times have had an appointment very quickly. I have never had a problem with Church street surgery and think the staff are extremely efficient and always very friendly and helpful, the doctors are always very thorough too. I’ve had the privilege of being with this practice for 20+ years.
My primary doctor, Dr. Williams has consistently been empathic, empowering, affable and worked for productively with me to explore solutions to my presenting issues. I’m so appreciative of his care delivery and of the others in the practice including the front of house staff and those working effortlessly behind the scenes. Thanks also to your aligned pharmacy team, they have been a real blessing.

I have been with this GP surgery since 1968 and have always felt well looked after. Times change but I find Church Street surgery listens to patients’ concerns and will tweak their services to help if they can. Eg the new phone appointments system was criticised in its early stages and it is now possible to book a routine appointment a few days ahead for non urgent matters. They have tried very hard to reduce waiting times on phone calls. However, booking online is very easy. Try the NHS app if you want to speed things up. Video calls have been introduced recently and for me as a hearing aid wearer these are a boon. Remember not all consultations need to be with a doctor but it will be a doctor who will decide on the appropriate person for you to see. Above all, if you have concerns raise them with the practice. They will resolve problems if at all possible.

I've been with the surgery for years and have always managed to get an appointment the day I call (pre-covid). I've seen lots of doctors over those years that have always given me the best care. Most recently Dr.Pandit who really takes the time to ensure she gives me all the information I need around what shes prescribing, my options and I never feel rushed. The reception staff are also brilliant, patient and helpful and when I was with the pharmacy in the surgery their dispensary was always super quick. I like the surgery so much that when I moved out of area I stayed with them. My experience with the surgery have only ever been positive!

Such a great GP practice, so easy to book a phone call with a doc, called back same day, seen if needed, or given treatment, advice etc as aprop. Nurses are excellent, and so caring. Mega thanks to you all.

From my experience- Always listen and respond to requests . Virtual appointments well delivered. Safety visiting the surgery during Covid19 has been superb. A great team all round.

Filled out the online form yesterday to get an appointment for my 4 year old as I expected he had an ear infection with in an hour I had a phone call to say they had an appointment for my son I had to take my 1 year old with me as I had no one to look after him I think the lady I saw was doctor hazel she was fantastic I felt a bit stressed as my 1 year old was playing up a bit and she was really understanding telling me it's OK hes fine and she was brilliant with my 4 year old and diagnosed him with an ear infection

Not only staff are very supportive and caring, but also they treat you with dignity, kindness and respect.

Have to say I couldn't fault their service and care yesterday when I telephoned them for my dad. Dr Pandit came out to see my dad at home and was just great very attentive. Thank you for a great service.

Cant fault the practice. Went on line to book a 5 min phone consultation. Doctor rang back at the agreed time of 9 oclock. By 10,30 the same day I had a face to face meeting with a doctor.

Good Doctors, Highly recommend
