Penrhiw/ Hilltop Cottage

I stayed at Hilltop with my whole family and two dogs recently. Firstly, it's a lovely cottage, with stunning and very picaresque surroundings - we all had a fab time in Snowdonia and can't wait to revisit. The accommodation itself was more than adequate for us adults and the kids. The kids made use of the complimentary Disney channel, board games and Alexa. There's also complimentary Netflix which is so convenient for evening times. The house was very clean and tidy on arrival and we had everything needed for our stay. There's a BBQ outside, with lounge chairs, a swinging hammock, dining table and benches, plus lots of room for parking on the drive and around the side of the house. 5 Stars! Thank you.

Me and my wife have a large family. We decided to look for somewhere to stay for a getaway, I found this place online and gosh what a beautiful ace to stay absolutely amazing. Thanks to the hilltop family.

We originally looked for a place to stay in Snowdonia that was self-catering and had plenty of space for us to lounge about, when we found Hilltop. The Cottage was perfect for what we wanted and the location was ideal for where we needed to visit with the local attractions etc. Aside from needing a car to actually get there, you have a few walking routes from the cottage itself and the local pubs not too far away that are walking distance. You'll want to drive to other places, but it's such a beautiful area, it's a pleasure. Hilltop Cottage is stunning, with three very large bedrooms and a large garden. We enjoyed a BBQ or two and the Netflix account was very well received by all. Thanks for the memorable stay x

Had a great family stay, 6 adults and 2 children, location is fantastic for all tourist attractions and has plenty of space for everyone, had a problem but got sorted by Sally who was always on hand by phone to sort things but that leads to the only problem as there is no phone signal or data so make sure you know where your going but this can also be a good thing as nobody can get hold of you whilst your away, would highly recommend and intend to stay again.

Lovely cottage. The owners really take care of the place. On arrival had lovely welcome basket and it was my sons 1st birthday and my husbands 30th there were decorations helium balloons confetti prosecco etc amazing arrival.
Had a lovely family retreat. The cottage itself is beautiful in a quiet scenic location.

Hilltop Cottage is the perfect place to completely relax or go out on an epic adventure! The location is perfect for Zip World and walks in the local area, me and my family loved our stay and would love to come back - oh and our cocker spaniel Harvey loved it too! This cottage was extremely clean and set in a very tranquil area with beautiful surroundings in a peaceful area. The hosts provided everything we needed for a fantastic stay and it served as an ideal base for hiking in Snowdonia - although we were tempted to stay at the house! I would happily recommend Penrhiw to anyone else and we will definitely be returning!

Had the pleasure of staying here with friends a few weeks ago! An absolutely fabulous location for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding area. Place was clean and well equipped with adequate parking. The local pub is definitely worth a visit!!!!

We stayed over Easter Weekend for a family break, nine of us in total. It was very convenient to climb Snowdon. The house is very well equipped. The children loved having NetFlix! I’ve already recommended this house to others.

Absolutely loved our stay here with my family - we have rented various cottages but they always seem to be very basic - lacking homeliness - this cottage was the complete opposite - as soon as you walk through the door it has a warm inviting feel about it - the boys ran upstairs choosing bedrooms - my hubby lit the gorgeous log fire - whilst | made a much needed cup of tea ( with everything I needed in the welcome basket ) The cottage was immaculate - we were soon all snuggled up by the fire watching films and planning our next day walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside - to say I didn't want to leave was an understatement - Thank you so much for restoring my faith in holiday rentals .

Great spot for a holiday cottage. I was only delivering furniture but nonetheless got the impression it was a lovely secluded and quiet spot to enjoy some R&R!👍
