Absolutely stunning. We stayed for 4 nights at Castle View and had the best stay. The view is incredible and because of the location you are far enough away from everyone whilst still being able to access lots of great day trips. The hot tub was such a bonus matched with the view and Pam had even left out a little welcome set of delicious goodies. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Castle View Lodge was fantastic! A lovely romantic relaxing get away for our anniversary. We became very good friends with Thelma, one of their resident Alpaca, very friendly and came running upto us every time we went out to the hot tub or just to look at the beautiful scenery. The facilities in the lodge are great, the master bedroom with the very large patio doors and the bath tub looking out to the beautiful rolling hills made it. Beautifully decorated. Will highly recommend and will hopefully return when we can!

Stunning lodge in a stunning location. We stayed in the 4 person Castle View Lodge. This is the second time round we have had the delight of staying in this beautiful place. The place is kitted out with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The lodge is totally private, has a great open plan living area. Games room. Free standing bathtub in the master with a view. There are also some welcome goodies to be enjoyed from the owner on arrival which is such a lovely touch.

I decided this time round to watch the sunrise from the hot tub the day we were leaving and the photos just don't do it justice.

Do not hesitate - book it.
Location, location, location. The area is great for walking & just getting away from it all. Short drive to Hay on Wye.
The lodge is amazing.
Built to a high standard & taking advantage of the superb views. Everything you need is provided. Even your own games room. Relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying the views of the black mountains & wildlife. No sleeping issues here. Amazing superking beds. So comfortable.
Pam & Matt are lovely and on hand if needed.Short walk to the pub, approx 15 mins. We will be back.
