A well established shop is always good to see in a town, and this is one of them. From my memory it's existed for at least 30 years and is a good place for tools, plumbing, electrical and gardening supplies. Some prices might be higher but sometimes they are counteracted by the cost/time of going to larger chain stores. Some tools aren't premium but sufficient to get you by, I also wouldn't expect an independent store to stock expensive items, it wouldn't be cost effective. Staff are helpful and friendly, so long as you are.

I love this shop! I've never gone in there with a problem or a part they aren't able to supply. Also they do a lot of single washers / screws etc which is great if you only need a small quantity. Just today I needed a replacement washer for a shower valve. Bristan who had made the part wanted to sell a brand new one to me - over £300.00 after discount. I went in this shop and got a new washer instead. 40p. Brilliant!

I try to go into Jays (Homecraft DIY)every time I’m in Paddock Wood. I’ve been shopping there since 1988. Everyone is so helpful & kind. If they don’t have what I want in stock (which is rare) then they will do their best to source the item for me. Amazing shop. Highly recommend 😁👍🏻 Lorraine Curd From Yalding Kent

Great little village DIY shop that also has loads and loads of every day useful items for the home and garden. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They really pack this place to the rafters with stuff, so if you can't find what you're looking for, ask, as they nine times out of ten have it.

This is an amazing shop. If you need anything, just ask because they are friendly and helpful and usually have what you need, even the obscure items. I can spend hours looking in here finding things I didn't even know existed but helps immensely.

Oh what a little gem, every single need to fix or start any job. Once you enter it’s sheer volume of stock keeps browsing and buying. There is also an excellent selection of kitchenalia, whilst waiting in the queue I over heard the staff advising customer on parts and glue types, so helpful. Definitely a returner.

Great service, went in for some keys to be cut, 5 minutes later all done and sorted.

This is the local DIY store for Paddock Wood Kent always handy for that bit you need the owner is quite knowledgeable and very helpful
I use it quite a bit and wholly recomend.
