Hindwell Farm Shop

We were recommended to try the Hindwell farm meat…… and wow we were not disappointed!! Jess was absolutely amazing….! She was incredibly helpful and even let myself, my husband and my mum see the new piglets that had just been born the day before. She couldn’t do enough to help us, and told us all about the various meats.
We have had the sausages for breakfast and I can say they are the best we’ve ever had! I 100% recommended this place and will be coming back again when we visit!

So, it's not what I was expecting. It's a meat vending machine with some cakes and eggs, or at least was when we visited on holiday. However, I'm so here for the concept of a meat vending machine, and dear gods, the meat was such good quality I wished they shipped it to london.

Stopped before Christmas and bumped into one of the owners restocking .I wanted beef that wasn’t out and she couldn’t have been more helpful finding me some for our dinner.I never write reviews but I had to this time because I don’t think I have ever tasted such delicious beef. I always buy butcher rather than supermarket meat and quality over quantity ,but this really was special. It had an slightly sweet taste reminiscent of the way lamb tastes sweet but not as strong and of course the deep beef flavour. I shall be going back for any special occasion that needs a meat meal. I also had pigs in blankets which were also delicious. The vending system is a great idea for flexibility and ease of shopping.

What a fabulous shop. So friendly, helpful and well stocked. I can't wait to try the beautiful looking sirloin.

No sign of it being open at the moment. Shame.......(edit) Okay, maybe we were too polite and gave up too quickly as didn't see obvious signs of activity. Will try another time.
