Lovely little campsite in rural North Devon. Quiet site with a handful of pitches and two cute little huts, very well maintained with some nature ponds and a little wooded area to exercise dogs. There are two lots of toilet/shower facilitates on site, one is a little rustic but adequate. They also have a little room with a microwave and toaster, a freezer for freezer packs, toys, games, books, you name it and you forgot it, there's probably one in there! Thought this was a really thoughtful addition. Site is very handy for North Devon and even into Cornwall. Be warned there are some VERY narrow country lanes around here, but it was all part of the fun!

My husband and I stayed at one of the cottages - Linney - in December when we were down in Devon under difficult family circumstances. It was so lovely, after a hard day, to return to the cottage and relax in the warm, clean and comfortable surroundings. Great bed and bedding ensured a good night's sleep and the well stocked kitchen provided all we needed for cooking. The decor is bright and calming and we were only sad that we were unable to spend more time there, and light the fire.
I would highly recommend this place, and noted that the layout made it perfect for 2 couples or "grown up" families.

We happened to see this campsite featured on a YouTube video and we set about finding it as it looked so nice.
It’s a small, quiet campsite with large, spacious pitches in an idyllic setting. There was EHU and drinking water on our pitch and everything we might have needed was easily accessible. We loved the natural feel to this place and had fun messing around on the mini golf course. The owners are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We’ll be back for sure - it’ll become a favourite place to go to unwind.

Lovely peaceful campsite, pitches spacious, some gravel some grass. One dog included and electric hook up which was very reasonable.
Lovely woodland to walk around, beautiful ponds with lots of fish. Can even play pitch an putt!
We had an awesome night away, will definitely return soon. Highly recommend *****

I never wanted to leave!

I'm a keen camper (by far the most tranquil place I've ever stayed) and yet for my husband, camping is his worst nightmare! However, for my birthday he compromised and booked a glamping pod.
Safe to say, he loved it and we're already booking to go back!

We loved spending time in the woodlands, looking out for wildlife and the fish in the ponds were fascinating!

This place is beautiful, peaceful, clean and friendly. It quite simply took our breath away!
I would highly recommend!

Thank you for having us Lane End Camping and being such great hosts!

We have just recently spent a fortnight at Lane End campsite. It was splendid, perhaps one of the best sites we have stayed in; pretty, roomy, friendly with an excellent dog walk. Couldn't recommend the site highly enough.

Absolutely spot on site. Small, peaceful, well kept and in a fab location. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and the pitches are some of the biggest we have ever stayed on. Will deffinetly return again.

We stayed for a short 3 night break in our tent in early June, and the campsite setting and hosts are incredible. The campground has a beautiful garden like manicured feel, and the pitch spacing is perfect if you like a more private feel. The Facilities are basic but perfectly adequate, and kept nicely clean.
The only thing I would note is that there are no pubs or shops within walking distance, but this is certainly not a negative, especially if you come prepared.
Certainly one the best small campgrounds we have stayed at in the SW, we will be making the short drive from Dorset to re-visit again for sure!.

Enjoyable weekend away at this very pleasant site, only 11 pitches so not for those wishing to be entertained. Helpful owners,( fixed my electrical hook up). Only downside is that another shower would make a huge difference(only one available). Would recommend for those wanting a quiet break

We stayed in the green pod, it was so cute and cosy. The pod was really well equipped; cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. Also there is s small stove/grill and the barbecue came with coal and fire-lighters. It had everything you need for a self-catered short stay! Can't fault it at all! It was lovely and warm at night, and the pull out bed was big and comfortable. We paid an extra £5 for some firewood too. The washroom facilities were clean with plenty of hot water.

Facilities are as advertised, not palatial but clean and functional. Setting is beyond any expectation, quite the most beautiful grounds I have camped in, like staying in the very special garden of a very well designed stately home. Get up early and spend some quiet time at the pond side, it's a spiritual experience.

Really great visit. Hired one of their Shepard's huts for a bit of glamping. I was really impressed with the site, location, facilities and accommodation. The hut was clean and had the basics such as fridge, kettle, plates, cutlery etc. It was warm and dry, in fact it was very comfortable. There is decking outside with seating and a gas powered BBQ. Toilet and dish washing facilities were just a few metres away. Parking was not too far, and I was able to ride up to the hut to off load before parking. My only item for the wish list is to have a tarmac roadway rather than the stone as it was very difficult to ride my motorcycle on. I look forward to visiting again.
