Lake Villa Holiday Cottages & Hidden Lakes

We booked out all 3 Holiday Cottages for a Christmas break and it was perfect!

We had 12 adults, 2 children, 1 baby and 3 dogs. There was plenty of space for everyone, everywhere was clean and comfortable, kitchens were well equipped, and nice touches like towels and cleaning products included too

Booked all 3 cottages for May Bank Holiday weekend, multigeneration family holiday for 14 people within 4 family groups aged 3 to 78. Perfect set up for our needs. Lovely communal spaces but also could retreat to our own cottages. Cottages all well equipped and clean and comfortable. We were blessed with sunshine and the kids loved playing tennis in the garden tennis court and the short walk through a lovely meadow to the cabin and lake, even caught a few fish! We had a day out to Summerleaze Beach with the sea pool (25 minutes drive.) And spent a day at Tamar Lakes where we hired bikes and canoes (10 minutes drive.) Had a nice dinner out in the local pub Bradworthy Inn. Considering it was a Bank Holiday weekend very peaceful location and hardly any traffic. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing place to stay with family. The 3 cottages were so well stocked, clean, and cosy! Sarah was so lovely, always available, and went above and beyond! Can't wait to visit again soon.

We had a wonderful ten days here. Sarah is a happy host with a warm welcome. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. I walked our dog on the Common almost every morning. The cows are very docile and keep to themselves! The wild coastline is exhilarating and Sarah suggested many good places to eat nearby. We had a memorable time and look forward to returning.

Fantastic accommodation. Went with family to celebrate my birthday and New Year. We took over all 3 of the cottages and none of us were disappointed. They were extremely well equipped and everything had been thought of. The owners were both lovely and friendly and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Another amazing stay at Lake Villa being looked after by the sparkling hosts Sarah and Simon. Such a tonic! Lovely to have the cobwebs blown away on the cliff tops near Bude and returning to a roaring fire, weekend papers and gossiping with friends - doesn't get much better than that in the midst of winter. Jo recommends the level, one lap park run around Tamar lake on Saturday mornings. Looking forward to returning soon. Ruth and Jo
