We recently stayed at Dipple Farm as a small group. It is an absolutely beautiful campsite, surrounded by fields and wildlife. The site was really quiet, away from busy roads and the perfect place to unwind and relax. The small shop and onsite fridge were great and the vegetable beds were a lovely addition to our stay. Shower, toilet and washing up facilities were all great and even better being eco. Overall, we had such a lovely stay and can't wait to visit again!

Went camping here as a family of 8. With 6 kids we often feel like we are intruding but this site was absolutely perfect. Carol called in advance to let us know that the bottom field was available to have to ourselves for our dates if we like but that we didn't have to. The location is beautiful, so much land to explore and felt safe enough to let the kids explore a bit by themselves. Carol and Steve were so helpful and friendly and the facilities are fantastic. We will definitely be returning and will recommend this place to everyone possible. No dogs allowed, perfect for us but just a heads up to anyone reading.

This idyllic spot is almost too good to share! Carol and Steven have created a unique camping experience in this special and secluded part of North Devon countryside. Facilities are clean, green and blend beautifully with the gorgeous setting. The addition of a pick-your-own herb/salad garden and kitchen-barn means you don’t have to wander too far for a forage. Lovely walk through unspoilt fields brings you to a river confluence and beyond lies a sheltered woodland. Just perfect!

Dipple farm is beautiful!
It's the perfect campsite for families, with so much space for the kids to run around and burn energy. There's a lovely little nature walk which takes you down to the river. The kids loved catching some minnows.
The campsite itself is very intimate with only a handful of pitches and the views are amazing.
There is a communal barn with fridges to store items, also lockers with charging points to use as well as a toaster, hot water urn and microwave. There is also a little shop to buy fire wood and kindling. We had the toilets and lovely hot showers (2 of each) a stones throw away from our pitch was was very convenient.
If you want a lovely campsite surrounded by gorgeous countryside then Dipple farm is the place to be!
We will be back.

We had a wonderful time at Dipple Farm. The campsite is very well equipped, eco friendly and the hosts Carol and Steve are lovely. They've put so much effort and work into this site, which clearly shows. The scenery is beautiful and our teenagers loved sitting round the campfire in the evenings, telling stories and playing games. We will be back!

What a gem of a campsite - very spacious, very secluded and in the middle of nature, and very eco-friendly. Carol is a very warm, generous and welcoming host.
But even more than the campsite, there is a magical river- and woodland- walk around the land. Very, very special.

Wondering if I should be writing this review as I kind of want to keep this place a secret, but I know how hard the couple that run it, Carol and Steven have worked to turn this place into an absolute gem of a find.
Getting here was fine-just follow sat nav, you then follow the track to a field with a selection of pitches, these are so well placed, flat, extremely spacious and with fabulous views. The site is also enhanced by its green credentials such as a composite toilets and recycling station, shared washing up and without doubt the best showers-hot ones as well!
Carol and Steven have also created a nature walk that leads you to a stream and around. You have access to a fridge/freezer/toaster and microwave.
Not being a dog owner myself it was lovely to be on a site without them, but if you are wanting to bring your dogs they have self catering accommodation with a big field attached to run your 4 legged friends.
The whole vibe of this place is relaxed, quiet, clean and very welcoming.
We will certainly be back.

Super cool set up, really cool facilities, lovely setup with each pitch having its own benches and firepits.
Lovely circular walk to the river and back through the woods. Excellent little hide away picnic spots along the river.

This place was a little slice of absolute heaven, sleeping with the sound of owls and waking up to so much birdsong and gorgeous views of the hills. Loved all the eco touches, super clean and so relaxing. Will definitely be back

Stunning campsite, beautifully looked after. Loads of space, wonderfully friendly owners. Was worried it wouldn't live up to the website pics, but it really does. Can't wait to come back

Dipple Farm Cottage was a nice little get away for me and my wife. My wife is a wheelchair user so the fact that the cottage has a wet room was a major factor in booking. It had everything needed for a self catering holiday.
It was a good central location to head to local seaside towns and just an hour and a half from the Eden Project.
It's definitely remote and anybody who isn't confident in driving down very narrow country lanes, with the prospect of other traffic or tractors coming towards them might well be put off.
The owners, Carol & Steve where lovely.

It is a beautiful site, the owners are very helpful, especially getting our equipment to our area as we were not allowed to drive our car down to it (we knew this). It's worth noting that the site is wonderfully remote and peaceful, but due to the nature of the site, the roads in are pretty pot-holed. There is a nice 10 min walk to the stream, with lovely swings for the kids, but the river doesn't have easy access, it's a knotted rope to climb up the bank. The toilet and wash ups are great and they have everything you need. The bottom toilet needs better monitoring, as it was getting quite full. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend as a safe, remote, eco friendly site.

Beautiful place, lovely owners. Only thing is the need of having heating in the tents so maybe some electric points would be good
