Woodview Campsite

We enjoyed a week of camping at this place. The staff were very nice and the pitches were spacious. The best part was the campfire area with many spots for fires and hammocks. We will definitely come back.

Staff were amazing and kind. Facilities are very clean 100% would come back again. We stayed for 7 nights and would loved to have stayed longer. They also sell there own duck and chicken eggs 🤤 and honey. The kids loved the massive games room and made some friends for life that live not far from us

Just left from our 2 night stay in a wood cabin, we really enjoyed ourselves. The facilities were spotless at all times, the cabin was spotless, also in a great location with amazing views! We already live in Cornwall but was amazing to wake up with the beautiful views. We will definitely be back soon!

Just back from three nights here. Our experience was five star. Friendly owner, spotless loos and showers. At first glance there might seem a lack of loos but there are two additional family ( larger) double shower and loo bathrooms and one block at the bottom of the site. Couple of mins from the A39 and a short drive to a village with a good CoOp etc. Just be aware some of the tent pitches are smaller so if you've a anything over a medium sized tent it'd advice you to call direct to ensure an adequate pitch of which there are plenty. Helpful and friendly owner who's around and very approachable . Definitely dog friendly.

Another great stay this time staying for 8 nights in Kingfisher lodge. Already planning our next visit as we love it here. Lovely family run business, clean, tidy and everything you need for a relaxed break away. Love the firepits and hammocks. Roll on 2023. Thank you Anne and family xx

Have visited this great site many times over the last five years. Clean and tidy showers and toilets. Small shop for essentials and the bonus of fresh hen and duck eggs. Huge play barn for the children, and roasting marshmallows over the firepits along the stream a favourite evening activity. Friendly owners always on site for help and advice.

Absolutely amazing campsite. Rates are reasonable, open all year round, water elec hook up, warm showers, campfires, shop, lots to do. Very quiet site out of summer season, very well kept and maintained, owners are very friendly and very helpful :) I am 100% coming back!!! If you want proper camping come here!!! Hammocks in the summer can't beat it! Dog friendly area too :) plenty of signs to find the site. The site compromises of well kept glamping cabins with smaller ones from the luxury ones. Tent pitches and motor home pitches. Really couldn't ask for more. Have to praise the staff for being so kind when we turned up late last night and they welcomed us in. Best place I have found so far!

This is a great site a hidden gem.

They have a great indoor play room for children with indoor football tv badminton and pool tables. This means that the children can play in all weathers and there isnt lots of noise of children running around the tents.

The hammocks and fire pits are wonderful. Short drive from bude. Book direct through the owner

Turned up unannounced with a tent. The campsite were happy to find me a spot, and it was a very good price. Nice pitches with hard standing next to them for vehicles. A small shop with some snacks and drinks and camping supplies. Good toilets and showers.

Fantastic well presented camp site with everything a family needs .
The staff were lovely and really friendly.
The family shower rooms were a life saver ! Lots of things to keep kids entertained even on a rainy day.
Would recommend to any one !
Just sorry we had to leave a day early.

Really lovely camp site, shower units and toilets always clean, little shop on site, lots to do for children indoor play area and some swings outside, staff very friendly and always around to help highly recommended.

Excellent family camping experience good amenities. Woodview is situated out in the lovely devon country side wake up to the animals like sheep and cows and birds. Relax in a hamack down by the stream and make a campfire logs etc can be supplied. Great for the kids to run loose and safe best of all no road noise. So if u like camping or glamping or prefer to stay in a static caravan then wood view is for you i know i Will defently go back.

The Cobbledick’s always give a warm and friendly welcome and are always around for help and advice!
We’ve spent several weeks there this year during the COVID 19 restrictions and they have done a FANTASTIC job keeping the site and all facilities spotlessly clean and safe.

Always a great welcome at Woodview... Excellent facilities, clean fresh and very friendly... Fantastic indoor play area for the kids (Dads too), and very nice to BBQ and eat alfresco down by the river. Bude is just down the road with everything you need. Woodview is a great stepping off place for all of North Cornwall and Devon.

Excellent site at a very reasonable price considering the area , in a great location within good distance to most of the key places in Cornwall and Devon. Anne is fantastic, always happy to help and always happy to provide lots of helpful info for best places to go.
It is a simple site but does all the important bits very well. Showers are always hot and plenty of them including for families (we had two young children with us), excellent play barn, little play ground, amazing fire/ camping pits with hammocks which the kids and us really enjoyed and of course stunning all round views.
As well as Annes own little site shop which has most of the basics, The nearest local shops (co-op, Spa etc) are in a little village called kilkhampton which is about 10 minutes away from the site, it also has a very good chip shop, pizza place, takeaway, tea room and couple of pubs.
Bude of course is about 15-20 mins away and one of our favourite places to go no negatives at all, though it does get busy so reccommend getting there early. We usually go to Crookes beach.
There are also several cabins on site. We stayed in the woodpecker cabin and it really was fantastic, everyone who has seen our pictures have also commented on how brilliant it looks. Loads of space, really well made ad stunning proper wooden cabin.
We have booked again for next year and would recommend Woodview to anyone.

Great campsite. Brilliant facilities and has an indoor gaming area for the kids when the weather isn’t so great. Several fire pits and hammocks to relax on and toast a few marshmallows!

Clean and tidy site. Excellent customer service by a family run owner.
Stayed for weekend and rebooked again for August as we liked the site so much. Had a real authentic camping feel to it which did not compromise on customer safety during the current pandemic.

The most beautiful camp site we've ever been to! We've been camping as a family for 6 years and this is the loveliest site we've ever stayed at!
All the staff are so lovely and super helpful, clean showers, clean toilets, the hammocks are amazing for the kids, we've never been anywhere with this sort of atmosphere, I can't understand the lower rating reviews at all. Our kids 6 and 8 have had the most amazing week ever and we will definitely be returning 😁

Great campsite, lovely and tranquil with beautiful views. Games room, shop selling basics, good clean showers and toilets with separate family shower room. Fires and bbqs allowed down by the riverside. There's even WiFi. Close to local village too. A fantastic place to visit.
