Castle - Caister

First time at this carvery as a family birthday meal and the staff were great and the food piping hot,meat was cooked perfectly well for us,all the vegetables were also cooked lovely & piping hot too.
Play area for the children (we didn’t use this as they played outside for free as indoor is around £3.50 I believe?)
Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff so we will definitely be back for another meal very soon.

We visited on a Sunday (8 adult's and kid's). We had to wait for a while because it was very busy, but we weren't bothered because we found somewhere to sit and had a few drinks. Once seated, we all headed for the carvery. There was a huge selection of meats, and vegetables, plus accompanying sauces. Huge Yorkshire puds. The food was delicious. Fresh, crisp, hot, absolutely fantastic. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We will definitely return.

Food was good. The waitress who bought the food out banged them on the table along with the cutlery. Went there today with my mum and cousin for lunch.

We went here tonight whilst holidaying and I can honestly say it was the best carvery we've had.
We went around 5.30pm and it wasn't too busy, although by 6.30 it did seem to pick up a little with more people queuing. But even if we had gone later and had to queue it would be 100% worth it. Really good food and service 👌
Hats off to the chef who was on, and to the staff working the bar and restaurant. Very welcoming and friendly 😊

Tried Sunday Lunch here. It is popular so give yourself time. Parking is adequate but remember it is very popular. The staff were very friendly. The place had a family atmosphere. The chef at the Carvery was very helpful and friendly. All the staff were courteous.

The Carvery was excellent. A great selection of meat and vegetables. I had a selection of the available meat and vegetables. They were very helpful and aware of food allegies, etc. Also they offered vegetarian options.

The desserts were exceedingly nice. In fact I would happily have eaten every dessert on the menu.

A lovely meal and a good experience.

Really great food,service and atmosphere. Had carvery all 4 of us with starters and it was very good. We will go back again

Perfect when you fancy a roast but don't want to cook, food is always good and we turned up as a party of 10 and the staff went the extra mile to accommodate us

Love it here. Food is great, nice variety and beats a Toby Carvery all day long. Good play area if you have kids too. Defo recommend.

Always fantastic food served any time of day. Always rotated quickly and never waiting around to be served. Lovely be to eat.

Been going here for years now being a father of three very picky kids lol a Sunday dinner or midweek carvery is so much easier for all of us here kids love it foods great, service great can be busy at times but that's a testament to how good it is there great for family's all round really

31 of us visited Sunday afternoon we were all sat together in the conservatory staff were lovely friendly and so helpful
We all eat different choices of food on offer and everyone was more than happy no complaints at all

Me and my family comes very often and always great service and great food the kids love it as they get to stay and play and the staff are brilliant

We tried this place after a long day out while on holiday with kids. There was a great choice of food including the carvery. My daughter has a tomato allergy and they were sure to take note and reassure me that the utmost care would be taken with her meal. Gentleman behind the bar was so wonderfully friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. We will definitely go back next time we go on hols well priced and tasty food with the added bonus of the kids play park. Perfect!

We rocked up as a party of 12 and they found us a table with just a few min wait! So friendly and accommodating. Food was soooo nice (my husband love to find something to moan about and couldnt). Will defo be coming back year after year when on our holidays

Our first visit to Castle Carvery was exceptional, friendly staff and excellent food, what more do you need?

Lovely place and great food. If you're looking for good food and especially a good carvery then this is the place. There is a kids play area outside and they offer plastic "glasses" so you can sit outside with them. They also have a separate outside patio if you don't have kids. If you're spending the weekend at the seafront of either Great Yarmouth (as I did) or Caister then I would 100% say it's only up the road and worth the trip

Found this place on Google, can't fault it. Plenty of parking, friendly attentive staff who were all a pleasure to deal with. Good food that's reasonably priced with a great little outdoor play area for the kids!

Called in at the last minute for Sunday carvery. We were not disappointed. Only take walking on a Sunday and we had to wait for a table for about 30 mins, but not a problem as there was an indoor and outdoor play area and we were able to get a drink from the bar while we waited. Carvery was fabulous, atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and helpful and the place was spotless. 5 *
