Outstandingly service minded staff! I was visiting Corby for work and had dinner with some colleagues here and forgot my handbag when we left. I called them later in the evening, a wonderfully friendly young man answered the phone and promised to drop off my bag at my hotel! In just a few minutes he showed up at the hotel reception with my bag and I cannot even explain with words how thankful I was, and still am! And oh, the food was also great!

My first visit here.

It was a birthday treat from my wife who had been before and thought I would like it.

Well I did. It was a great experience and we both had the carvery.

Well cooked meat although I just missed out on the gammon but had pork and beef.

Both were tender and melted in the mouth.

The vegetables were a good selection and cooked as they should be.

All in all with attentive FOH it was a very good evening.

Will be back again.

Couldn't fault this place it was jam packed on a Wednesday night so they must be doing something right 👉. Booked a table for 6 o clock as we were staying in the village and wanted to have a Carvery 'Outstanding ' and my pint of Guinness was up there with the Best. The staff worked there socks off to keep up with all the orders and it was a very pleasant evening. Many Thanks.

Good food but my partner's food that was brought out was not what she ordered. They took it back to the kitchen but left mine out. Ten minutes later they brought the correct order out by which time I'd eaten mine. Should have taken mine back and kept warm. Venue inside is like eating in a village hall; painted wooden walls.

First time visiting Sondes Arms and was a real treat! Attentive, well informed staff. Lovely traditional surroundings, kept to good, clean standard. Plenty of parking despite pub being busy. Food was really excellent, carvery busy but excellent variety. Turkey in particular was tasty and moist. Gravy tasty and plenty of selection of vegetables. We will definitely be back. Walked in off the road, welcomed immediately asked where we would prefer to sit and we were taken to our table. All I can say the food was exceptional service very friendly and this was a Friday evening. In saying all that we have booked a table for x4 for Sunday lunch. KEEP IT UP GUYS AND THANK YOU ALL ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My Spanish husband, Spanish friends and I stopped off for an hour to have a beer on a very grey, rainy and cold day. We were all welcomed very warmly and the wonderful bartender, Paul converted our cold, miserable day into a very happy one. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. We'll most definitely return when we're next in Leicestershire. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely pub great atmosphere excellent food. Carvery on a Wednesday and a Friday. I definitely had more than my moneys worth. Would definitely eat there again

Food was as expected, classic pub style. Not something I'd brag about but by no means was it bad. What really set it apart was the service. Every staff member we spoke to or interacted with was nothing but kind and courteous. Absolutely lovely place, can't wait to go back

Busy pub/hotel in a quaint village where all the front doors of the houses are a particular shade of green, by order it would seem. I happened to get here on carvery night and was treated to an excellent meal, with the unusual treat of being able to have different meats (ham and beef in my case) together. Loads of veg and the biggest Yorkshire puds I've ever seen. Certainly worth a visit if you are in this lovely neck of the woods..

I have always liked the Sondes Arms and have always enjoyed our visit. We came for another great carvery there today, tasty veg, friendly staff with great personalities and some cakes to bring home. Couldn't ask for anything better thanks guys!!

First time at Sondes Arms and we had a Sunday Roast , so lovely and the nicest ambience. Will be returning 😍🥰

Excellent food, so worth a visit. We'll be heading here for our Sunday roasts from now on, nothing to fault it was delicious

Had a beautiful carvery roast here back in February - really enjoyable evening service very good food was amazing !! 3rd visit here and we were not disappointed - The actual pub itself is very lovely too good atmosphere- we’ll be back !

Amazing food. Unfortunately as a family table the waiters didn't seem to want to serve us and it took us getting up to hunt someone down to get the dessert menu other than that a great experience 😊 highly recommend the chicken and mushroom pie when it's pie of the day 👍

We highly recommend the igloo experience! It was a lovely setting for this festive period and with the added benefit that the food was lovely. The starter was served to our igloo and we chose the carvery for our mains which was just over the courtyard to the main building.
I can't recommend enough!

Another great Sunday carvery here,was a bit worried when it changed hands but if anything it has improved.Would like to say congratulations on your wonderful staff,all really young people with a great attitude and working together really well,all of them pulling togetherWell done all.
