La Strada Restaurant & Bar

We absolutely loved it here. The food was great and the staff look after you well, the atmosphere was lovely and made it a really special Birthday dinner! Would visit again in a heartbeat (the kids pizza was adorable)

Tucked out the way. Great atmosphere - not too crowded. Food was tasty - not over priced either. Will definitely come again. The limoncello was surprisingly nice too... Bravo 👌. 2 people 3 courses 3 beers and mocktials -£70. Ideal

Was looking for a quiet restaurant to have lunch. Fortunately we came across the La Strada Italian Restaurant in Broad Hinton.
The staff were really friendly and we had a selection of tables to sit at. As it was a sunny day,we chose to sit out back in the well maintained courtyard.
The quality of the food was excellent and the price,very reasonable The food was the best we’ve had in a very long time to be honest.
I would recommend a visit to the La Strada if You ever in the area

Absolutely fabulous restaurant. Even though I messed up the booking, the amazing staff here were able to fit us all in at the last minute. Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious food and wines. 100% recommend. We are definitely coming back for a 5th time.

5 of us went to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Myself and hubby never been there before but we will def be going back.
Although we were the only guests there at 12 on a Saturday lunchtime, service was impeccable, the food was freshly cooked, beautifully presented, delicious and with generous portions. The chef had even taken the trouble to write happy birthday on my husband's plate of sumptuous sirloin steak! If you like Italian food (other options are available), together with good service and pleasant surroundings, try La Strada for an enjoyable experience

Cute, well decorated restaurant with great pasta and dessert. Their banoffee pie was very delicious and the portion was big enough for two ppl to share.

Amazing! It was my first time in a long time coming to La Strada and once again it didn't disappoint. I took my mum for a birthday lunch without a prior booking. I thought I'd chance it and ask the staff if they could do a little something for her. They wrote happy birthday on her plate and at the end brought out a dessert with candles. They were super nice and accommodating. Also, the food is so lovely and fresh. The bread is freshly made which I can't really think of many restaurants in or around swindon with such high quality food.

Lovely restaurant, food was delicious and well presented. They can make pretty much anything gluten-free, which really opens up the options.

It was very busy the last time I visited and as a result it was quite loud, but don't let that put you off... the food is worth it.

Nice spacious layout in the dining area.
Our food was delicious...right from the hot, tasty garlic bread, to our mains. My friend and I both had pasta. Beautifully cooked and very delicious. I had Spaghetti Salmone and she had Linguine Bolognese.
Very much enjoyed it and will be coming again!

We arrived for lunch very early, before noon, and so had the place almost to ourselves.

There was a sensible-sized car park.

The menu had significantly more choice than many restaurants have been offering at lunchtime these days.

The prices were very reasonable.

The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

When we asked for the music to be a little quieter, it was done immediately. That's not to say that it was loud or intrusive - at a busier time, with more people there, it would have been about right.

The food was excellent - very tasty and clearly cooked to order, and surprisingly fast. My request for a Tagliatelle Carbonara instead of the Spaghetti Carbonara actually on the menu was no problem at all

Everything (including the restrooms) was reassuringly clean and shiny.

There was a little traffic noise - it's right next to the main road from Swindon/Wroughton down to Avebury, but not enough to disturb us, Parents taking children there might want to just keep an eye that that don't get out the front.

Out at the back there's a nice outdoor seating area - a decent size, and nicely laid out. Fences and hedges meant that traffic noise didn't intrude.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Place is nice, good atmosphere, beer and food. Staff is very attentive.

During week days there is a good promotion for couples which makes much more affordable, but the prices are not prohibitive anyway.

Starters - Good
Pizza - Good (although it could have less cheese and more tomatoes sauce)
Tiramisu - Very good

The place also offers free parking lot! I will certainly be back.

It was our friends birthday so we googled restaurants in the area and were so pleased we found this little gem. The service is excellent. Warm and welcoming.
Food is fresh and beautifully made and presented. The atmosphere is perfect and decor pleasing on the eye. Rustic with a modern twist. Very clean and tidy.
Free parking with about 10 spaces.
Customer care is first class and both Tony & Bianca are perfect hosts. You can tell they care about their customers and quality of their food.
Now to the deserts. One word wow!!!
The mains were amazing and we didnt think they would be able to top them until we ordered the home made deserts. Quite simply the nicest Banoffee, tiramsu and cheesecake we have ever had. They were sooooo good. Worth going just for these alone.
We have been disapponted by lots of restaurants recently, many with poor service or poor quality food so it's so good to find a business that offers such good quality and service.
We have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars and will be returning very soon. THANK YOU

It was my first visit to La Strada. It was my birthday and we were a group if 6. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. I felt very special. They have very good customer care. We will go back.

Shocked and surprised.
My gluten free pizza, which is fully made in the kitchen was not only huge but so tasty.
Thank you for accommodating us early and thank you for making our 90 minute journey so worthwhile.

We went for my partner’s birthday. Food was very good and a banner had been put up saying Happy Birthday for us! Small touches, such as the Happy Birthday on my partners meal and the free Limoncello with the bill made it a special evening plus a happy birthday from the staff!

Lovely staff, cosy restaurant vibe. All pasta and pizza can be made gluten-free, had a wonderful evening and will definitely be returning

Came here for dinner last night and was extremely impressed. Waiters were very attentive, serve was a good paced, meal was not rushed at all. Food was incredible and very good portion sizes! Highly recommend

We ate here 3 times within our first 2 weeks in the UK. 6 did different meals, each one spectacular. Delicious food, excellent staff. The pic is of the Duck special.
