The Swan Inn

I’ve been to the village many times before but never eaten in The Swan. I popped in for a quick lunch and wasn’t disappointed. I had the chicken thigh special with roast new potatoes and asparagus. Very well presented and delicious. The service was friendly, efficient and just the right level of attentive. A calm and classy spot for a bite to eat.

Popped in for drinks while passing on a walk. Lovely good sized garden and very dog friendly. Booked to eat and was not disappointed. Great menu, great food, great service... excellent cocktails as well 😊. Will definitely return when in the area. The staff really make this pub.

Booked for Sunday lunch at 1pm, inside main bar for 5 adults. The Swan has a lovely atmosphere.
Food service was impressively quick and was very delicious. Roast meats were so tender (lamb and chicken) and veg were fresh. Yorkshires were super. Sticky toffee dessert was spot on - not too heavy but very moist.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Nice outside dining experience, well spaced patio. Pretty good service. Not a huge selection of draft beers but they carry Rebellion IPA. Food was well executed with quality ingredients. Will be back as local/walkable to us.

A beautiful pub with wonderful staff.
We were a group of nine, with three children and a dog. We were given a table in the marquee which was perfect for us (being rather chaotic and messy). The staff were truly wonderful, the Sunday roasts perfect and we had a fantastic afternoon.

One of the best eating places, elegant & cosy. My younger son favourite & we have been visiting since 2003. Lots of good memories. Food menu is so good. Very professional chef.

We had an excellent time celebrating a special birthday with extended family, the staff were very friendly and accommodating for our large group, and the various Sunday roasts at The Swan were delicious. Thank you!!

Very casual atmosphere.. But the food is excellent... I had the fish and chips and it is the best I had in London. My family had the gnocchi and loved it as well as the onion rings and the duck special. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend it. The town of Denham is very quaint.

Had a small wedding reception the service and food was execellant. Mille and her team worked so hard to make out day so special. Highly recommended.

Beautiful little village, beautiful pub with a very, very nice garden.

Dog friendly so you can bring your pooch. There are couple of vegan dishes in the menu (pumpkin, sweet potato & coconut curry and Salt Baked Celeriac & Mushroom Wellington).
Went for the curry: it was delicious although not even remotely spicy despite the "spicier than usual" request.

Also the dish is arranged in a very pleasant to the eye way!

It was a quite small portion, so if you're are really hungry or you just eat a lot like I do, go for the Wellington.

The oatmylk latte was also great.

Seems that the pub used to do Vegan Thursdays, not sure about now.

I'll definitely try to visit for a longer walk in the area (which is very picturesque) and to try the wellie :)

Thanks for another lovely afternoon. Our corner table. Two pints of Moretti and some lovely sides to share. We only moved to the village just over a year ago but truly treated as locals. Didn’t have it today but the Primativo red wine is not to be missed. Happy New Year to you Millie and the team.

This was a very nice, community pub/restaurant in the heart of Denham village.
The service was really good. I think the young lady who served us was Millie. Very friendly and helpful
So I ordered burger and chips, which was really tasty. It was large, but I enjoyed it.
Visit if you can, but remember it's amongst a very small quiet residential village.

We had a very nice meal and the service was excellent. My husband really enjoyed the rebellion beer and the house white wine was good. Only thing to mention for improvement was the table top not secured to the base so it rocked if you put your elbows on it.

Had a lovely meal here on a Friday night and the staff were so friendly. The food was so tasty. Lovely ambience in the place. Best to book as it was full. We took our time ordering and they realised we were talking so just left us to it. Facilities were clean which is always important. Only negative I have is was a little cold in there, could have turned the heating up a tad, though I'm sure once the fire is on it is well cosy.

Best food around for miles. This pub really has it down. Superb menu. Definitely try the bubble and squeak. Pictured are the Lincolnshire sausages that were perfect. For dessert don’t pass up the apricot tart te tain. All of the staff are lovely and the spacious outdoor garden is ideal on a lovely summer day. Thumbs up!

Nice and warm, the atmosphere and the ambient temperature. A good wood burner, parked just outside the front door, just what I needed after a long day's work! The food was great for quality and enough of it, cooked perfectly, I had hake.

Very nice local pub in Denham, with a bustling dinner crowd. I would actually call this more a restaurant than a pub, and the food was excellent. The steak was juicy and rare, the chips hand made, and the bubble & squeak was a highlight. Definitely worth a stop.

Great pub with a lovely back garden. haven't tasted the food but it looked absolutely stunning. The staff is super nice and the attention to detail everywhere
