Ideally placed for lunch when visiting the castle. Service friendly and efficient. The food was very nice and good value. The fire being lit was nice and gave me a chance to dry out!

Outstanding food and service as always. A lovely country inn with first class food and top notch service. Thank you to the Carew Inn team for yet another wonderful evening. It’s our go-to place if you want a great meal with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. See you next week!

P.s I’ve noticed a negative review below, we were actually in the pub that evening and we heard how rude and insulting the group were to the waiting team. We were all appalled by how negative they were, regardless the team and Lisa were so accommodating and went above and beyond to try and ensure these guests were happy but noting was good enough. I’m only sorry you have such a sad and negative outlook on life and don’t appreciate a wonderful quality local pub. You’re really missing out! Great work Team Carew on remaining polite and professional throughout.10/10 as always !

I have been a few times now and have never been let down. I had the beef burger this week and last week I had the gammon. Recommend both! So tasty and full of flavour. The chips are incredible!!

Carew Inn was really quaint and a perfect location for us.

The room was warm, fresh and clean. The powerful shower in the morning was great, as was the Welsh Breakfast, served with a smile!

We will definately be booking the Carew Inn on our next trip!

Great staff! Good food and great service. Visited 3 times and ate there on 2 occasions during our 6 night stay in area in February. Became our first choice!

First class service! Food superb, drinks on point and staff who couldn’t do anymore for you - you’re looked after from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Heard lots about Carew Inn over the years and finally managed to visit - we weren’t disappointed! A proper country pub that is a ‘must visit’ when in Pembrokeshire!

Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff. Small, cosy traditional bar with open fire and separate restaurant areas - all dog friendly. Traditional pub fayre and takeaway menu available. We loved it!

Traditional pub and inn with an open fire and a quirky layout. Perfect spot for a rest and drink after a long walk around Carew. Sunday lunch was great and very well portioned and service and staff were lovely.

Amazing! Had Sunday lunch, definitely recomend this place. Very clean. Staff very friendly. Food came straight away. Fantastic!

Our family of eight and our dog arrived for Sunday lunch on 5th November.
The food was delicious and the portions very generous with loads of veggies. The service was first class too

We stayed for 2 days, We was welcomed and shown to our ground floor room, Accommodation great, Breakfast great and a bonus a friendly cosy bar with good Guinness, The staff were excellent and efficient.

Had a lovely meal, nicely presented, hot and the biggest gammon steak I have ever had. Really good value for money.

We were in the dog friendly dinning room, which was really nice, only 3 tables but that was ideal.

There is a lovely big beer garden but was dull and overcast day we visited.

Great pub in a great location. Visited for a group meal, there were loads of us and they gave us our own room upstairs with was perfect.

Service was amazing! We weren't forgotten about and our food was served quickly. The food was tasty and staff very friendly.

We turned up, without a booking, on a busy night. We got a table, we were well looked after and OMG I had one of the best steaks I've ever had.
Great ambience, attentive staff, wonderful food (good portion sizes, if you're hungry you won't be disappointed!) and a good selection of beers. Thank you for a great night.

Lovely food, coeliac friendly!

My great grandfather used to run the Carew Inn and although it was quite a while ago now I was keen to show my 11 year old son the pub that used to once be in the family 😊 The staff were very polite and friendly and the food was excellent. Very cosy atmosphere with the fires burning in both the bar and restaurant side. Proper home made cooking at it's best and so nice to see the Carew inn thriving ❤

Last minute evening dinner booking. Superb food best lasagne I've eaten and other 3 in our party loved their meal choice. Compliments to chef Euan. Our main server Monty couldn't have been more helpful. Sorry only in area one night. Lots more on menu liked to have tried.
