The Potting Shed

Called in at the garden centre and couldn’t resist. Lasagna was amazing, the quiche was lovely. The salad with both was plentiful, beetroot and coleslaw gorgeous. Prices are far too cheap for the quality we had!! Staff lovely and cheerful. Wish we had the time to call again before the end of holidays.

Visited today for lunch and we were absolutely blown away. The burger and panini we ordered were really good value and they tasted amazing. Loved the side salads too even my bf who doesn't normally like side salad enjoyed his and ate Beetroot for the 1st time in years.

Ideal stop off for lunch from visiting Manorbier. Slightly confused when on arrival asked to take a seat then found out you ordered from the counter. Nevertheless friendly and obliging staff and a nicely laid out garden centre to visit.

Very busy today but quickly seated and the food arrived in about half the time we were warned it might take.
The food was excellent (I had the gammon egg + chips special 👌) and the busy restaurant had a real buzz!

Just a snack lunch but very nice. Large.variety of plants etc as well as the usual gift etc section.

Great cafe in a unique building and setting. Staff were great and food was lovely and very filling.

Really nice cafe in a lovely garden centre. You can eat inside or outside surrounded by the plants and flowers. It was very peaceful outside, just the sound of the birds. The service was friendly and the food came quickly and was tasty. The cake selection was also really good to eat in or take away.

Good food at a very reasonable price! Service was excellent and fast, Fergie and Suzi doing a great job!

If you are looking for an excellent breakfast served by lovely people then look no further highly recommended

Just had fish and chips 🍟. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The food is excellent. Freshly cooked not too long to wait. Large portions. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be returning

An accidental find or a lucky find , either way this place has to be advertised as it is an absolutely fabulous place for any meal from breakfast to Sunday lunch. As restaurants go it is not the largest or lavishly decorated but when it comes to the food and the hospitality there are very few places to beat The Potting Shed. At times such as Sunday lunch book before you go or you will be disappointed, the dinners are excellent as is the service, I know as far as my wife and I are concerned they cannot be beaten. Well done our visits may not be often but we will be back

Fantastic breakfast and coffee. Wonderful place to visit. Gets particularly busy by late morning and at weekends, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

From the freshest sandwich selection, to the light and delicate meringues and moose, it was perfect. The home made cakes and scones were just perfect too. The lovely staff were as delighted with our appreciation of their perfect tea, as we were .

My wife and I have just enjoyed the most delicious Sunday roast, the meat just melted in your mouth and everything was piping hot, the service was efficient and very friendly, I can say with all honesty it was probably the best Sunday roast we have ever had, the only regret is we go back to Herefordshire on Friday so won’t have another chance until later in the year.
We can thoroughly recommend the potting shed for Sunday or midweek meals.

Definitely the best cooked breakfasts in South Wales, if not the UK!!!!.Let down ever so slightly by not being able to swop beans for a hash brown and the tomatos under cooked for my personal liking, but I'll still rate 5 stars as the breakfasts, despite the small niggles are still amazing! Super friendly staff too. Will be back again and again.
