I cannot recommend this place enough! If you're into walking and exploring, then this is definitely the place for you. I'd highly suggest clearing a whole day to explore, there really is that much to see! The beauty is that you can see as much or as little as you like. We took a picnic, as the cafe is quite a long walk away from a lot of the monuments. I'm keen to go back to trek to some of the really far away places that my other half didn't want to do at the time!

Went to see the 'Earth' exhibition at this beautiful school. The grounds were designed by Capability Brown I believe - just stunning!. Lot's of walking so be prepared, not all level surfaces either. Luckily we were able to access the NT gardens from the school side. Otherwise, the NT entrance was 1.5m further down & looked alot further to walk to even reach the gardens. The weather was marvellous, which went a long way to enjoying the scenery.

What a great place for studying.I must say this is a dream school to be part of it.If you get the chance simply to explore the magnificent building, you wan't be disappointed. The architecture and the styling -worth every single penny you pay to explore the place. The library is impressive as all the rest of the rooms in the House. They all have their unique designs. Stowe School is with amazing architecture and lots of open spaces with magnificent views.Thank you for the great tour provided by tour guide with great personality 😊Highly recommend National Trust -Stowe Gardens and the school ,we had an amazing day wondering around hidden treasures.Great place to entertain kids for the half-term.

What a great place for a very interesting walk. You can take a short, medium or long walk. We walked the right hand side of the garden today and covered 4 miles and approx 20 floors elevation. The cafe has a great selection.

This place is so beautiful, no matter how many times you visit there is always a hidden gem to discover. The ground are maintained and tidy. Plenty of picnic areas.
Easy access for the less able and buggies. The only down side us a lack of toilets. Portable toilets are the entrance to the grounds and main toilets by the carpark. Plenty of free parking. Dogs also allowed on leads with ample bins.

Amazing National Trust park. Plenty of trails which were not too muddy even during a rainy past week. Great map and staff as is usually from the NT! Of note the actual Stowe building is operated by a separate organization so it requires different tickets. Would highly recommend for a day trip or some walking about!

A beautiful massive National Trust which is well worth the visit! It has several different walking routes and lots of monuments to look at. The Stowe House isn’t part of the National Trust and is £7.50 admission fee, but looks well worth it. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back. Around 10 mins walk down to the walking trail.

Such an amazing area to walk. If you like walking in nature you'll love this place! It's massive, loads of architecture to see. There is a fair walk from the car park to the start of the walk. There's a cafe and places to get a map before heading to the paying booth. You then are able to roam the grounds. There's toilets by the cafe and up by the Manor. It's extra to go into the Manor and pay for a tour. There is another mobile cafe at the bottom of the walk.

This is a nice place to anyone who likes to see historical structures and even for a cute picnic date. You have whole lot of ground to cover. They have different structures at different places. You have to buy a ticket at the gate. They will give you a map. I went there for my birthday such an amazing place. You will see plenty of cute dogs here

Beautiful walks, paths to follow and finding lovely views and buildings. We saw the earth display at Stowe School, David who volunteers there was lovely to chat to, spent time with us and was lovely. The exhibition was nicely laid out and the school is beautiful inside. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful house and gardens. Lovely place to take a nice walk and take in the greenery. There currently are 2 installations that are a must-see - Gaia (amazing!) and Standing with Giants.

The most amazing place to spend a Sunday with family and dog! We enjoyed exploring the site and taking in breathtaking views. You can visit the main building but for a separate fee (but if you want to, make sure to get there early as it’s a very long walk from the car park!). All staff were all wonderful and the cafe building definitely worth a visit!

Great place for walking and enjoying the country side. The park has walks and has a beautiful landscape. The lake is nice and well maintained. The footpaths are buggy accessible. The site has souvenir shop, a cafe and restaurant and best of all an ice cream booth. Really enjoyed the time there.

A stunning place, even by National Trust standards. The grounds are full of charming follies, many a tribute to Ancient Greece, some to great English iconic figures of the past. I took my 84 year old mum and her dog: both loved it!

Stunning walk, £13 pp to get in, but you can spend quite a few hours here, especially if you bring a picnic, loads of places to sit and just take in the scenery. Very well looked after grounds and everything is perfect. Don’t go on silverstone weekend though as there are helicopters constantly going over which kind of ruins the tranquil experience but not enough to not enjoy it.

Beautiful place, very big garden. We should have come a bit earlier in the winter time as the garden closes at 4pm and the last entry to the house is at 3:30pm.

Beautiful landscapes gardens maintained by the National Trust covering a large area. You'll never get round it all in a day unless you're quite fit!
The house is a private school and spectacular with a lot of interesting history. I would recommend booking a tour to learn all about it!
