Lovely little park. Outdoor gym and play area. At the end of the park is a lovely walled garden that you can walk around, and there is a cafe. Carry on ahead and walk up to the monument if you are feeling energetic. Great views on a clear day, we managed to spot Blackpool Tower.

Popped to this park to walk my dog whilst visiting the Lakes for a few days. A simple but pleasant green space. Nice that there are designated areas for dogs off leads / children, so everyone is catered for. Also loved the wild flower section.

Amazing park for older and younger children. Was also happy to be able to be with my younger son and still watch my older son whilst playing but still in view.

New play equipment is lovely and my sons loved them! Nice green fields handy parking if you go through the big gates into the park. There is a cafe and walks up to the lighthouse we had a lovely time!

A lovely wee park, great for families aswell as anyone wanting a peaceful walk! The start of the walk up to the Sir John Barrow on Hoad Hill is through Ford Park.
Also the oldest church in Ulverston is just above the park, the parish church of St Mary's,parts of it have been there since 1111. Daffodils out too when we were there, the start of spring!

Great park, kids activities and a large dog area at the foot of Hoad Hill upon which stand the Sir John Barrow Monument. There is also the a cafe in the grounds and at the hospice just on the edge.

A really great place. A very easy car park in the park, and loads of on the road parking nearby. A wonderfully eventful place with a play ground, zip wire, free to use piano, cafe and gardens and loads of events. Had the best time performing here and its super close to both the centre of Ulverston and the top of Hoad Hill for some stunning views of the South Lakes and the coastline. Loved my time here.

Nice park below the monument with parking and a superb cafe (try the millionaire short bread and flat breads). All dog friendly and the paved walk to the monument provides great views.

Liked it. We parked up and walked the dog up to the top of the hill but be warned the tower has herras fencing round it now.

We were at the park during the Ulverston Lantern Festival and it was brilliant. Everyone had made such an effort and there was music and fireworks too!

Great open public space with dog walking on the right and a dog free park on the left. Ford park sits at the foot of Hoad and includes a cafe, community centre, nursery and gardens.

A really nice walk with sweeping views. The walk is not too strenuous and takes approximately 1 hour from the car park and back round.
