Starida Puffin Island Cruises and Sea Fishing Trips

Really good cruise, captain and his mate (grandson) were informative and friendly. Lots of.intersting information about the animals and area we were seeing. Took kids aged 9, 8, 6 and 1. All enjoyed (baby slept). Saw seal pups, amazing

Very enjoyable, cruise length was perfect. Both the captain and the deckhand were very knowledgeable on species of birds. Local historical information was also given through the loudspeaker system on the boat, this was a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone with a few hours to spare in Beaumaris.

second time doing the puffin cruise, both times have been exceptional and i have been lucky enough to see puffins both times! crew and captain are very helpful as a second pair of eyes and very knowledgeable with bird species and history. will definitely continue using this tour.

We went on the 4h fishing trip and our expectations were exceeded. The crew was superb, very knowledgeable and super helpful. The trip took us to a variety of fishing spots around puffin island and along the coast of Anglesey. We booked with rod hire. All equipment was explained and maintained during the trip. A really enjoyable and informative tour out to Puffin Island from Beaumaris. Easy to get on and off the boat so accessible for people with mobility issues. When buying tickets online you need to get a boarding card beforehand from the Kiosk at the pier.

Brilliant experience well worth the money! Got the 3pm boat, got off at 4:30. Saw some seals lots of cormorants! Unfortunately the puffins had flown off the island 10 days prior but still worth the trip!

Had a lovely trip out to Puffin Island whilst on holiday in Anglesey. The captain was very knowledgeable about the area. The boat was easily accessible and suitable for all ages. We saw lots of seabirds, including Puffins and some seals. Would definitely recommend a trip if you're ever in Beaumaris.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip today on the island princess. Friendly and informative. We got to see lots of seals and many different sea birds, including the Puffin. The boat turned around at times to make sure everyone on both sides got to see the wildlife. I would highly recommend it to anyone, Dogs are welcome too

A fantastic and informative trip. The captain was a funny and entertaining person along with his deck hand.
I was made up they brought the boat to a stop allowing us to view the seals for a good length of time. The captain has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area and the inhabiting wildlife. I found it a very educational. The boat was clean and comfortable and not overcrowded. It was a very well priced trip.
The gent ( if I remember correctly Gareth ) who sold us the tickets was a lovely person very chatty and friendly even towards the end of a long day. He answered all our questions and more and we had some funny banter with him.
If your in Beaumoaris this trip is a must. It’s very popular so make sure you head straight there to book your trip.
The captain took us relatively close to the island which allowed us to easily view all the sights and obtain some fantastic footage and pictures. This trip made mine and my partners day. Thank you so much.

Great experience, but unfortunately it was too late for puffins (mid August).

Wonderful experience. A feast for wildlife fans. A very knowledgeable skipper gave an excellent commentary on all we could see. Great to share the trip with my granddaughter who saw her first puffins and seals. Highly recommend this friendly welcoming company

Fantastic trip fishing with me (woman 50+) and three boys 13 year old with special needs an 11 year old and a 9 year old. First ever experience. The captain and crew were brilliant they made the kids first ever experience exciting and were compassionate, understanding and gave clear instructions and help when needed. Would highly recommend this tour. Worth every penny. Made memories for life and will be doing it again soon. Thank you so much

We had a brilliant time on the Puffin Island Cruise with Ollie and Ed from Starida. They were entertaining, friendly, and went over and above to try their best to help us spot puffins (we were lucky that we came at the right time of year for puffins). They also pointed out many other interesting and beautiful birds on the way. You can tell they’re very passionate about wildlife and about what they do. Would recommend

Amazing tour on Tuesday 13th June staff very friendly and weather was lovely we saw so much wildlife around puffin Island and they made sure both sides of the boat would be able to see everything.
The information part was a bit boring maybe could add some fun facts for the kids on board but I suppose facts are facts right and add something on the way back to the pier.

Lovely boat trip around Puffin Island. We even managed to see some puffins but keep in mind they’re only there a couple of months a year. Also recommend bringing a waterproof jacket as it can get wet at times.

We went to see puffins and saw loads of fluffy seals and there was plenty of birds and 8 puffins... The charmer commentator was funny and full of character... Enjoyed the boat trip very much aboard the princess...thank you

Wow, went today. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The two guys who run the cruises are great, Olly & Tom with excellent commentary pointing out all sorts of wildlife & history. We were also allowed to take dogs, which was a real bonus.

Great crew (Stan and Ed) very informative tour. Kids enjoyed it, although we didn't see any puffins, but plenty of seals and cormorants
