This is our 2nd time staying here and I eould highly recommend it. The staff can't do enough for you. We had 2 of our young granddaughters with us who are fussy eaters (Like most children!) and they very kindly accommodated them at breakfast for which we were very grateful. On the subject of breakfast, there was so much variety and everything tasted delicious!
I've given 5 stars for the rooms which is well deserved but it would be unfair not to mention that the mattresses were not the most comfortable. However it would not stop us staying there again

We booked here as we was visiting Beamish. The place was beautiful clean and welcoming. The staff were lovely friendly and very welcoming too, they were happy to help us with anything required.
If you need a place to stay up North this is most definitely the place to stay.
We will definitely be back.

Best food ever! Great environment around the place and incredible staff! The pizza was spectacular! Interior was beautiful.

Went for a really nice meal deal,. I was very very impressed with my starter Minestrone soup, It was a meal in itself, i asked for a pizza done the way i like them & it was no issue,. Food arrive piping hot and service was excellent although the visit,. Were definitely going back again. Easy 10-10 Delicious 😋

My best friend had their wedding night celebrations here and a good chunk of the party booked a room for the night too. The staff are very warm and helpful. The food was great across the board. The surrounding area provided some lovely hangover walks. Highly recommended!

We had our wedding here. Yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment of booking to the day has been hassle free. A big thanks to Katie, Paulo and all staff the organisation and food was excellent.

This is a lovely resteraunt, there are a collection of rooms off the restaurant which the beds are comfortable and have en-suite facilities.
The food was good and not too expensive. The layout of the restaurant was really nice. The staff were really attentive.

Absolutely gorgeous place to eat food was delicious can't wait to go back in the summer and eat outside x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the room which was very comfortable and clean to the staff who couldn’t do enough to help and were so friendly, to the food which was flavoursome and plenty, not hard on the wallet either. Breakfast had a wide selection of continental and the full English was perfect. Evening meal was a Mediterranean delight. An absolute little Gem tucked away in Blaydon. Exceptional stay thank you. Your staff do you proud.

Ate at the restaurant for our 10th wedding anniversary. The food was incredible and it was the best calzone I’ve ever had. My husband is American-Italian and was also impressed, which is a good sign! The staff were friendly and always responsive. Will be taking my parents back for lunchtime in the lovely outside seating area next week! Thoroughly recommend!

Lovely restaurant ran by two brothers. I've been coming here with my family for ad long ad I can remember and saw it change to the beautiful place it is now. Lovely food and environment! Excellent happy hour menu that is on all week :)

This is an excellent hotel. The room was great ( room 1) clean and tidy with plenty of complimentary tea coffee and hot chocolate. The bed is comfortable and we both slept well. The breakfast was very good. And hot, cooked to order. Fried egg, sausage , bacon, mushrooms, hash brown, black pudding and beans. There is toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt and pastries if you prefer a continental breakfast. Fruit juice, tea and coffee are available. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The whole place is dog friendly too.
We have stayed in worse places that were more expensive. We will use again next time we are up that North.

Took my daughter out for a birthday treat and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing (best garlic mushrooms I have ever had). Even though the restaurant was busy the food was served quickly and fantastic quality, piping hot food.
The staff were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed right the way through the service and made sure empty glasses and plates were cleared quickly. The ladies serving were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.
We will definitely be returning with the rest of the family.

We booked two rooms and both were very nice with everything we needed. Rooms and ensuites were clean and comfortable with kettle, tea coffee and a good sized TV. Wifi was free and good quality. The beds were super comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts filling and tasty. The younger people loved the bar area. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting Beamish. Unfortunately, we had a horrendous journey to get there and didn't arrive until midnight. We had telephoned ahead to let them know and the staff waited on duty until we arrived providing us with a warm welcome when we got there and showed us to our rooms as we went as a whole family.
The next morning, we were provided a wonderful breakfast with excellent and friendly service.
The hotel was hosting a wedding and they were very busy but we found that nothing was too much trouble and service was quick and friendly.
The location of the hotel was good and there was ample and easily accessible car parking.
Would we stay again? Definitely. Thanks for your warm hospitality and hope Thanks for waiting until the early hours.

Tasty food at a Good price, polite staff, extremely Clean table, chairs and restaurant, plenty of parking.

Very good value rooms for visit to Gateshead or Newcastle, food very good and loads of it.

It was worth staying here as it is quiet, fantastic food and service. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar was lovely. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated.
We will highly recommend and would stay again for sure.
