The restaurant's interior exudes old-world charm, with roman coloums and vintage decor that transports diners to a bygone era. Each corner of the restaurant tells a story, inviting patrons to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of the building's past.

But while the ambiance may be steeped in history, the menu at this weatherspoons is decidedly modern and affordable. Offering a diverse selection of dishes inspired by both traditional and contemporary cuisine, there is something to satisfy every palate.

Amazing building. Might be the most impressive pub building in Suffolk if not the UK

Voted one of the prettiest Wetherspoons in the country. Ample seating, large bathrooms. There is a lift for disabled access around the side of the building if it’s your first time, may be tricky to find.

Food always comes out quick and hot, drinks served fast.

It’s a Wetherspoon pub, but out of the bunch, it’s a very good Wetherspoon pub.

Normal spoons. It's very big, but no problem finding a seat. they don't serve custard as they have a small kitchen. Worth a visit for the architecture of the building.

You know what you’re going to get at a typical spoons, this one doesn’t disappoint. Food was promptly delivered to the table and portions were good.
Ambience of the building was nice, very interesting architecture.

What a lovely wetherspoons this is. From the moment you enter you'd think you'd walked into a posh hotel.
I was in this restaurant as I'd a car to take for a service and I must say it's one the nicest I've been in. A lovely big roaring 🔥 fire and plenty of seating. The setting is brilliant and I take the pleasure of looking atvthe structure of the place and it's damn well impressive. Food and Drinks served with a smile as always in wetherspoons. I'll definitely be visiting this place again...🥰🍽🍺❤👍

This was probably the nicest looking Spoons I have ever been in! It is a historic Victorian era building that was once used as a central hub for grain trade in Sussex.

Food: I ordered jacket potato with 3 bean chilli, and my Mrs ordered a pasta dish. However, for the life of me, I can not remember the name of the dish, but the portion was so small that I had to donate part of my jacket potato to make up for it. "Hello! Portion control?.... anyone?? - *radio silence....*

Other than that, great establishment, good clean toilet facilities (for a Spoons). I can't comment on the pints, I was driving that day. But overall, it was very nice. You just need to think about the size of an average adult human being vs. the portion size, lol. It was more fitting for a small child! 😄

Thanks!

Spent several hours here this weekend and I have to say it’s been an absolute pleasure. Not only have I sank several incredibly affordable pints here (including a Greene King IPA, local brew and the reason my granny owns a house), I’ve wolfed down two veggie breakfasts and witnessed a 10-man bar brawl. Service is impeccable, especially for my app-using friend who prefers to order his food and drink without interacting with people. Oh yeah, the decor and design of this Spoons is incredible! It’s palatial and beautiful and historic. I feel like my time in Bury St Edmonds has been well spent!

We hadn't been before and we're pleasantly surprised. It's very large, the food was nice and it's a very reasonably priced meal. The service was very good, despite many diners, but we'll spaced out and comfortable

Truly is one of the most beautiful locations for a whetherspoons. Very impressive building both inside and out, but then a classic spoons service. Great.

I've been here quite a few times and it's a lovely place to eat at. Does get busy at certain times of the day but you can usually find somewhere to sit.

Very busy but one of the nicest Wetherspoons I'd been in, Corn Exhange building is worth a visit alone

Good turned up very quickly, and of above average quality for spoons. Building is also well up to scratch.
