I rarely leave good reviews But with this place I was compelled to. firstly its a Great location. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. The apartments are clean and maintained really well. The facilities pool etc are great. The food in the restaurant is really nice and the service is top. I will recommend this place to others.

We had a great week staying here. Accommodation was well maintained and clean and the facilities were great. Getting to book slots for swimming was a real bonus as people normally avoided slots already in use so you got the pool to yourself.

We had a lovely week staying at Moorhead Country Holidays.
We had their dog friendly accommodation (Bluebell) and other members of our party had another apartment.
The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, the area quiet, with a pool, games room, pitch and putt and restaurant on site.
It’s a little far out if you wish to go ‘out’ for dinner in the evenings as it necessitates a car journey, but the food and service in the on-site restaurant is exemplary so journeys out are not really needed!
The staff are lovely, friendly and accommodating, we will definitely be back.

Great family complex - pool, hot tub, golf, pool table, badminton... the list of things to do there is fantastic. It's close to one of the best pubs in the areas and the local beaches are superb. Friendly staff and highly recommended. Going back this year!

Great place to bring the family for a holiday. Stayed in a 2 bed apartment that was excellently presented. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The site has a great indoor pool, hot tub, kids play equipment and 9 hole pitch and put.

Highly recommended place to stay and sure we will be returning in the coming years.

Outstanding all round. Covid regulations have been throught of to a very high level and it shows, even through all the appointment have been booked up during our stay we havent really seen anyone. The views are amazing, I could walk round the grounds for days they are so beautiful. The restaurant is lovely and clean, well decorated and the food is to another level wow you can taste its all locally brought and not even my peas where frozen. The apartments are well equipment (we self catered most nights) and are a comfortable size unfortunately the wifi did reach our apartments, over covid they have redecorated and put in new kitchen areas (high level finish).
What to do: heated pool, hot tub, fishing, golf, childrens play area, games area, pool table, darts, table tennis, badminton. All equipment yu can borrow.
We will be telling all our friends and family what a wonderful time we have had here and would love to come again for another family break

Beautiful place in the breathtaking landscape of Northern Devon. The restaurant serves very good food. We loved swimming in the clean and refreshing pool and wandering around the countryside. Karen and Steve are lovely people. Next time we won't forget to play golf. ;-)

Really lovely stay. Rooms were great, everything very clean - spacious, comfortable, amazing facilities on site.

Staff were incredibly nice - really look forward to staying again.

Recently stayed in one of their smaller 2 bed appts with my husband & 2 boys (1 x double & 1 x twin). Lovely complex, perfect for our needs.
The weather was mixed, so it was great to have the swimming pool & games room as a back stop!

Outstanding!!! Absolutely amazing!!! New Years weekend. So tranquil during the day, we had the place to ourselves, played pool & ping pong, had a swim, went in the Jacuzzi. At the New Years Eve party our hostess Karen did the most incredible spread. We danced. What a night!!! And what lovely lovely people. Thanks Karen and Steve, you are wonderful x

Had an amazing time at Moorhead. It is perfect for families and had lots to do on site and nearby. This includes, swimming pool, gym, games room, pitch and putt and a fishing lake. My children especially enjoyed the outdoor trampoline and the dvd library! The new owners were very welcoming and were always available to answer any questions we had.

The property and complex were kept very clean and is great value for money. I would highly recommend Moorhead and can’t wait to return next year to see the refurbishment.

Just come back from a week away staying in Hawfinch Apartment. Very welcoming hosts Karen and Steve. Apartment very clean and welcoming and a nice refuge to return to after exploring the North Devon Coast. Had to cut break short due to impending snow storm. Great place to unwind and nice to relax in the pool and hot tub in the evening. Would thoroughly recommend

Excellent place to stay. Child friendly and stunning views. Facilities are brilliant and great location to visit Cornwall as well. Lovely hosts too. Will definitely visit again.

Beautifully situated, plenty of space on site. Well run by friendly staff. Varied activities on site and bar, pool and restaurant. Self catering option is always welcome flexibility. We loved it. Exciting plans for the future will enhance it too.

Very many thanks to Mandy Tommy Tessa and Martin for a wonderful 5 night stay. Afer our walks along the nearby stunning coastal path, Westward Ho and Instow it was a treat to use the warm pool and hot tub.
The restaurant food and service is really good.

One of our most favourite places ever. It's so quaint and unspoilt. Very peaceful. They have board games, pool table tennis, darts, a gym, swimming pool, hot tub, golf... Really beautiful. You must go!

We had a wonderful relaxing break. Rooms were excellent and everyone made us so welcome.

Fantastic complex for a relaxing break.the pool and hot tub were just what I needed to unwind. Views were superb. Near hartland bay a beautiful place to walk.

Fantastic facilities, has everything you could think of. Lovely modern rooms, spacious, facilities are great. Would heartily recommend.

Excellent.. everything for a home from home accommodation.. nothing left out. Food was lovely and reasonably priced...
Lovely owners and staff...nothing too much trouble... Will definitely try to come back..
