Fantastic site with great facilities. Easy to pay via the envelope system or the Ranger does come round collecting payment which you can use a card/phone for. The toilet and showers are very clean and a pleasure to have. Free table tennis table, bat and balls. I would highly recommend this site as there is way access to the south west coastal path. The sun sets over the sea on a clear day and the amount of stars in the night is worth its weight!

Lovely quiet, dark, and secluded campsite. Stopped off here on a leg of the South West Coast Path from Looe to Par.

Tent pitches are reasonably level but not totally and there are a few benches around if you're lucky enough to get one. I was the only tent in mid October so had the place to myself.

Despite hastily getting a pocket full of change in Looe, I arrived to discover the showers were free! Maybe this is a seasonal thing and would advise packing some 20p's in case.

Toilets and showers are decent and we're clean.

Nothing else here really, bit nice to see the night sky full of stars and hear the sea in the distance.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We camped in the camping only area, there are no cars on this field so you park on the gravel area on the edge of the field and pitch up on the field, if you dont feel like carrying things there is wheelbarrows there for you to use.

There were two compost toilets, a shower, two outdoor sinks & a clothes dryer on this field & only a few steps away two more (not compost) toilets & showers. You’ll need your 20p for the showers… 20p for 3 minutes or £1 for 15 minutes!

The site is also dog friendly!

Such a wonderful campsite! Very basic and that's what we love. Simple and clean toilet and shower. Extra room to shelter. Very nice walks, very close to the coast path.

We had a lovely stay at Highertown Farm camp site, the peace and quiet of the area was much needed and the beautiful Lansallos Cove is a ten minute walk away.
The facilities are fairly basic, there is no shop on site or nearby so be sure to pick up your essentials before arriving. There are hot showers (solar powered), toilets (the majority are composting toilets), washing facilities, a table tennis table, some electric hook ups available. We found it relaxing to escape the madding crowds of the Cornish summer at this little hidden gem.

Fantastic quiet site, pitched ourselves on arrival, paid the £5 extra for hookup in the envelope provided and the Ranger came round in the evening for a chat.
Composting toilets worked well and the coin operated shower was great,(don't forget your 20p).
Great location, footpath down to coastal path. Also a convenient bus service from the church into Looe and Polperro or Polruan.

Best camping experience!

Highertown is an established campsite with all the vibe. Perfect for chilling and being a central point between Fowey & Polperro (both highly recommended quaint towns!)

The rangers were about early in the morning, quietly swooping in taking care of the site.

Two fields - One for tents, one for camper vans.
Park up and use wheel barrows supplied, to cart your gear up to the camping site. Don’t forget to grab a tag at the entrance to slap onto your tent.
We pitched up under a tree with a sea view.
The camping site doesn’t have pitch locations, making it flexible as to where you go adding some freedom with positioning.
It was fully booked when we went, but counted only 8 other tents. Very quiet indeed.

The washing up area was always clean, however birds do nest in the roof, so be aware of our flying friends!
All three showers need 20p coins (2 x 20p for a 6 minute shower) High pressure and clean. Retro, but a cool touch.
They have two composting toilets - SUCH a great addition to a campsite, along with a shower and loo with disabled access.

Enjoy!

A wonderful site with modest, but practical facilities. Surrounded by wonderful countryside. 10 minute walk down a wooded glen to a beautiful cove. Tents and campervan are kept separate, which I liked. The tent area has a few blocks of wildflower meadow - lots of wildlife. Much of the coast is managed by the NT and is nature friendly. I was there in July and loads of butterflies. The only negative is the very noisy plumbing in the barn. The staff are low key, but obviously work hard to keep the site looking good. The composting toilets are great. A lovely, mellow place - recommended.

A campsite with tent and caravan pitches. From the tent pitches we were not far away from facilitys and had a sea view. The walk to the sea was fantastic and took little over 10 minutes. Ping pong table was an added bonus but remember if you want a shower the machine only takes 20p and £1 coins!

Brilliant national trust campsite. Embodies the National Trusts approach to sustainability with compost toilets, and solar power. Not a large campsite making it lovely and cosy, has a few electric pitches and benches - also access to a open barn for bad weather and space to eat.

Campsite is a 10 min walk to a lovely cove. Highly recommend this campsite if you’re looking for something a bit quieter.

Excellent place to stay in Cornwall
Bus stop outside the campsite.
Beach about 10 minutes walk away
Showers and toilets very clean
Barn to chill in where you can charge phones and a freezer for cool box blocks

A lovely, small, clean friendly campsite with beautiful views. Some electric hook ups (first come first served unless required for medical reasons). A relatively short, fun walk down a steep hill to a pebble beach with a waterfall & cave & in easy reach of the coast path.

It was not open as out of season. We were out walking and passed by but the location looked perfect for a quiet low key campsite with minimal facilities. Lovely view too. Would use if I wanted couple nights stay in good weather to get away from it all.

An idyllic campsite with everything you need, wonderfully managed by the National Trust Rangers. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well resourced campsite just a fall away from the SW coastal path then look no further, this is the one.

Great campsite. Though it can get noisy with lots of families with young children. So plan your timing carefully if you enjoy the quiet or want get to bed early for a busy walking day.

Great campsite with beautiful views. Not good if you are looking for entertainment but does have showers, toilets, washing machine. 1/4 mile to beach.

Incredible campsite. Very cheap and almost empty when we went (April). Great facilities and a stones throw from the South West Coast Path. We walked to Polruan from the campsite and then got a taxi back
