Lovely woman helped my son get a millapead and gave him lots of information on how to care for it. She showed us all the insects and helped us choose what was right for us. Great pet shop and would definitely recommend. Thank you

We come here every week to get our frozen raw dog meat for the dogs and crickets for our bearded dragon. We also got our daughters hamster from here and it is honestly the most friendliest hamster we’ve ever had! They are really approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and a good laugh! We would definitely not go anywhere else!

Been going for over 20 years and still find it to be the best place to get pets in Bury. Great selection of pets (fish, small mammals, birds, reptiles, invertebrates and sometimes amphibians), all of which have always seemed healthy and well looked after. Good variety of products (particularly aquatic products) fair price, independent, and the staff have always been friendly and happy to advise. It's not as flashy or as new-looking as some of the other local pet shops, but the items and pets themselves are just as good.

I have used Ornamental Fish Farm for many years for different ponds and tank set ups.
Since Peter took over the business has slowly improved with more stock and increased variety.
The main asset is Pete in person, always on hand to help, advise and most importantly cares about what he does.

The Staff are always helpful and have a good selection of everything you may need for fishkeeping and reptiles. Bought my 2 Dart Frogs from here and the staff always ask how they are.

If you want knowledge, good advice and polite staff then this is the place to go.
If you want car advice then it's not that good.
They have great quality fish for sure.

What a fantastic place. I needed fish for my water feature and all three grandchildren were with me to choose one each!! The staff were brilliant, so helpful and knowledgeable. The children loved looking at all the fish, birds, reptiles and bunny! We will definately be going back. Thoroughly recommend using this gem of a place.

The staff were incredible tonight when we had an issue with our ceramic bulb holder especially as we called 10 mins before they closed. They sorted a replacement and even waited round for us to go collect it
