Y Cerrig Glas

Visited on a Saturday evening so was quite busy but that didn't impact the service at all! I didn't need to wait at all at the bar before I was served and had our drinks made. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! A great value for money for a meal for 2 which we enjoyed thoroughly. The staff were friendly and helpful and while it was quite busy (a few children running around) it didn't disturb us too much.

Excellent host and service all round. Everybody working there had a sincere smile on their face and lovely manners!

It’s a spacious pub. They serve food and drinks throughout the day. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The food is suitable for everyone. It’s an ideal place for family or friends to get together without breaking the pocket.

There are some outdoor sittings and a small playground, plus, plenty of car park spaces.

Overall, it’s Good value for money!

We had a lovely meal here Saturday 16/3 the Male who served us at the bar , was extremely friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble with our order for 5 various meals . The meals were hot and delicious all of us cleared our plates , a testament to the quality of the food !! 10/10

I had the ultimate chicken burger. It’s also good to see a burger that looks like the picture. How many times do you see an advert for a burger and when you get it, it’s half the size. That was the BEST chicken burger I’ve ever had. My friend had the lasagna and enjoyed it immensely.

Me and my twin come here normally every Friday with the kids for a treat. The food is really great. Lots of variety and good value for money. The new menu has just come out and it wasn't a disappointment! The children's menu is fantastic and The portions are a really decent size. The staff are all incredibly friendly, polite and always has a smile on their faces. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere where you can all relax and enjoy some quality food without breaking the bank then this is the place to go. 😊

went in tonight by my self, staff were accommodating and friendly. ordered the sirloin steak which was perfect and the rocky road sundae is to die for. would like to mention the waitress with the green hair and male bartender with longish hair for making me feel welcome. 10/10 will dine again.

Was there couple of weeks ago, when my train was cancelled.I was greated by lovely staff.The food was delicious I had huge sunday roast (veggie one) and my friend had delicious veggie burger, really good service considering it was a busy Sunday.The manager was really helpful and kind.the pub was very clean ,and atmosphere was very relaxing.we had a brownie for a dessert ,and a sundae, also delicious.Would really recommend this place.Lots of sitting outside.Again big thank you for welcoming us ,and we made it home for 9am, due to m4 being closed cos of an accident. Anyway hope to meet again, meanwhile all the best for the team.

Y Cerri Glas (Blue Saffire): Disabled parking well set out at front. Very friendly pub with an upbeat atmosphere. Good selection of beers and reasonably priced menu catering for all tastes. Great to find such helpful staff who we t out their way to make us feel welcome. Lots of things going on. A children's party, friends meeting for a meal and a group of older people all meeting for an occasion. Comfortable furniture and tables not too close together . Bright airy venue, and one where you would feel safe. Recommend you try this venue, so near to Travelodge too!

We had a lovely meal this evening. Gorgeous hot fresh food with generous portions. Puddings were generous and delicious as well. We will definitely eat here again when in the area. Thank you

First time at Y Cerrig Glas and we were very impressed. Staff and service were exceptional. Super friendly and great with the kids. Great selection of food and drinks. Will definitely be going back.

I am gluten intolerant and find most restaurants don’t offer much choice on the menu. Y Ceryg Glas have a really good choice on the menu and now have added burgers (with a bun) and extra desserts too. The staff are all lovely with a welcoming atmosphere.

Always had a lovely meal. The one time my chicken was a bit over cooked (very overcooked) they were so apologetic and replaced it straight away. Love tge meals here and so reasonable

Delicious food and plenty of it. Under new management and worth a visit. Outdoor seating available. Lovely views of the harbour and water.

Lovely food! Nice and quiet. Only down side to it was the kids burgers came with southern fried chicken instead of the buttermilk chicken so my kids complained about it being to spicy (peppery)

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food was delicious, hot and prompt. We were so impressed we went back the following night and had the same experience. Can’t fault it. Definitely recommend it.

Thank you Y Carrig Glas for a fantastic Sparkles Elf breakfast we all had a fantastic time. Breakfast was great the fun element was very inclusive from us grandparents to the toddlers. I would highly recommend to all and definitely 💯 will be booking for next year. Can’t wait. 🧝🧝‍♀🎄🎅🏼🤶

Great food & service, friendly staff. Only gripe for us is we found the music a little loud as we were sat under the speaker. But each to their own I suppose, didn't affect our meal. Thank you

We have visited many times now and always enjoyed this lovely pub. This evening we had a mixed grill, rump steak and apple crumble and it was all really delicious. Service was quick and friendly, ale was lovely too. We will definitely be going back 🙂👍
