Nower Wood Educational Nature Reserve - Visitors by appointment only

This place is only open for visit by appointment or prior arrangement w the management team. They do arts and crafts events which you can book online or the Surrey Wildlife Trust website. Highly recommend for everyone keen on learning new skills, great day out and they sometimes do activities for kids too ☺ Lovely people and atmosphere!

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon making a Xmas wreath using greenery from the wood. Great fun and I have something festive to hang on the front door!

A lovely Surrey Wildlife Trust Education Centre, with a wide range of courses for all ages. Great tutors, really friendly staff. Highly recommended

Fantastic educational centre. Offering a range of workshops for all ages. We have attended open days and the previous school wild tots sessions and they are the best way to get our next generation out and into nature.

Great experience for family and kids loved it. Really enjoyed the Forrest school activities and the bluebells were so beautiful to see.

Really lovely mini beast hunt birthday party for my 5 year old. Whole group loved well led games and bug finding.
Super venue.

Attended a 'survial' children's birthday party and it was really good. The facilities are great, room for food, decent toilets and hand washing facilities. A knowledgeable staff member who led the children around a series of different tasks/challenges.
Children particularly loved the den building and fire starting (fully supervised of course!).
Definitely recommend for children's parties!

Booked a 6th Birthday party here for my son.
We had 8 children, 3 adults and the Guide. Lots of great activities and education for the kids and adults ! Lovely to be outside with them searching for Mini beasts and other animals.
We went in March and although chilly still great fun. Would be beautiful in May with all the bluebells. Absolutely recommend !

Nower Wood is great. We have as a family or our son enjoyed activities over the last 3 years. Perfect for outdoor adventure and the staff are amazing. Wx

A beautiful, serene place to visit. Excellent training courses run at the education centre, too, for both children and adults. Knowledgeable and friendly staff,who work hard towards the conservation of this special woodland.

Such a wonderful place, beautiful woodlands. Note that you can only access this on members events as it's owned by the Surrey Wildlife Trust. Highly recommend joining.

Brilliant private education facility wonderful environment

an excellent afternoon with my 3 and 6 year old boys, the learning centre has some amazing resourses and loads of great activities. Will definitely be coming back.
