Asda Ferring Superstore

We popped in last night and were served by the loveliest cashier who I'm sure was named 'Dan' (just before 6pm). He struck me as an unsung hero who does alot of good work that goes under the radar so I felt like a review would be nice. Once he rang us up he asked if we had the 'Asda Rewards' app; which we didn't, so he talked me through how to set it up and after downloading and signing up I went ahead and spent my first voucher. He really went above and beyond and couldn't have been more helpful. Really cool dude.

I have not been here a lot. I have to say the young male staff are in a class of their. Well Done

Amazing staff helped me find specific clothing items in the rather large clothing section. All shopping done and they cater well for GF and other intolerance needs. Great deli and fish options. Cafe great value too. Well done Asda.

This asda is usually stocked, and there's a vast selection of items. They have a cafe which usally has nice food, hot and cold with kids eating for only 1 pound! They also have a pharmacy and you can buy freshly made sushi.

This is what I would call a huge store. It has lots of parking spaces and a bus stop outside. There is also a petrol station there but you have to pay by card and it doesn’t accept contactless payments at the petrol. The prices of the petrol are always very reasonable and usually are cheaper than other local petrol stations. The store is always kept very tidy and it has a cafe and clothing section. They have a pharmacy in store too with the best, most friendly staff. The shelves are very high up so you may need to ask someone to help you get some products down for you. There is always staff available to help. There is never any long queues to pay but they usually only have the self service tills open rather than people working on the tills. The staff are always friendly and always giving that extra special customer service.

We tried to order for collection a Nintendo switch for our son to celebrate a special Christmas for him having his diagnosis this year! Twice it had been cancelled and Ollie managed to find my order after it was cancelled electronically, called my number and kept it in his possession for us to collect at a time that suited ‘to get the Christmas present out to us’. He honestly saved our Christmas as most who tried would know these devices are sold out everywhere!

Yesterday (new years day) I needed to collect a prescription that had been sent to the store electronically via the Urgent Care centre. I arrived at 9.50pm, with minutes to spare before they were due to close at 10pm. The pharmacist and duty manager went above and beyond their roles to help provide me with the medication I urgently needed. They were polite , kind, attentive and extremely resourceful, helping to track down the prescription and delivering the medication to me at the front of the store. I am so grateful for their attentive and professional service. Well done to these two lovely staff members and thank you

Staff friendly and helpful

Went in to collect online George clothing order, but had to get some other bits and of course ending up seeing more stuff that I needed.

All the staff that I interacted with were helpful and friendly. From member of clothing staff, security guard, lady on the self scan checkout and the lady who brought out my huge clothing order!

Never a bad experience here. It's a large store, great to have everything all under one roof

Popped in, lovely and big and clean. Toilets clean, cafe, was impressed with the sushi fridge, clothes and loads of parking. Exactly what you would expect from an Asda 😀

Doesn't matter how big my shop is, it always ends up cheaper than I expected here. Prices are so good. Store selection is great. Lovely George clothing section. Large bright and airy store. And the staff are always polite friendly and helpful.

Great supermarket with everything you might need

I am very appreciative of the way the staff at this store helped my wife when she became ill whilst shopping there on her own. They were prompt in coming to her assistance, calling the ambulance and assuring my wife that they would arrange for her shopping to get to our home whilst she was on her way To Hospital. And a special thanks to the member of staff who having brought the shopping to my home was kind enough to give me a lift to A&E on her way back to the store.

Called into store today after hospital appointment A lady called Debs could tell that I wasn’t feeling great and I was on walking sticks. So she took me to the front of the queue for self service checkout and checked out my shopping for me which I think is all over and above her duties

I was having issues with my local corner shop over PayPoint. On a weekly shop, I discovered ASDA Ferring also do PayPoint. So, I took my issue to the nice and helpful staff at the desk. They were unsure if they could help, the shop manager, a very nice lady, and the ASDA head office got involved. I gave my phone number and left the shop, about 1 hour later the manager called me to confirm they could assist me. The following day I went back and the problem was solved. I now go every week for food shopping and the PayPoint facility.
The ASDA staff for more helpful than anyone I had spoken to about the PayPoint issue I was having.

Great variety of products at affordable prices! Plenty of free parking, and a fuel station 👍

Came with my friend and our 5 children this summer at about 4pm for tea. We were amazed at what fantastic value it was. A promotion meaning
The children ate free. The food was lovely, the friendliness of staff was excellent they were so accommodating and informative with what was on offer etc. The kids ate a lovely meal and the Mummies were happy. Thanks Asda

Great supermarket with a nice clothes/shoes section. Big aisles. Bakery section. Got food section. Coming from France, I find the prices really reasonable. Some of the clothes are really lovely ! I just love this store.
