The Wood Norton

Stayed for one night in the beautiful Hall Queen Deluxe Room which was overlooking the gardens. It was a beautiful room and not far from the reception area and dining room. The experience was exactly what I'd hoped for and I would stay here again.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations ,from checking in for our four day stay till when we checked out everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly helpful and professional in every way. Special mention for SHABS(shabila) and Lana. Can’t wait for us to return. The food was first class every day breakfast was amazing,first class chef five star dining. Good wine list with several very interesting reasonable wines. We stay quite often in country house hotels this is one of the best.

We loved our 2 night stay at The Wood Norton in celebration of my 50th. I was exhausted with so much going on, and the moment I stepped in side I relaxed. The staff are fantastic, the food is amazing. The beds and pillows were lovely and comfortable. However, if not to your liking, the staff would go the extra mile to make your stay more comfortable. It was a delight to see The Wood Norton with its full Christmas decorations. 🎄

On arriving at the hotel for afternoon tea, we were greeted by the manager. It then transpired that a error had been made, not on their part in any way whatsoever. However, the manager was absolutely great, told us not to worry and she would ensure we were looked after, which we were. A lady called Shabs looked after us throughout. We were served a delicious afternoon tea on the terrace. I can only praise the hotel staff for their helpful and caring attitude. I cannot comment on the rooms as we didn't stay in the hotel, however, hotel and grounds both looked lovely, views stunning from the terrace. Car parking, WC.

We had a queen room for 1 night. Very comfortable room, great food and drink, friendly staff. We would happily recommend and return

An amazing luxury hotel. I stayed here for my 18th birthday with my mum and it was just fabulous. The main attraction to stay here is the simply beautiful and ornate wood panelling on the walls and ceilings in the majority of the hotel. I felt this was the hotel's most unique feature and something you won't be able to find anywhere else except maybe a national trust property.

We stayed in a Hall Executive Twin room which was itself very large and had a really large bathroom also, it was decorated in a lovely light bluey/brown tone and had air conditioning which saved us in the summer heat. This was another reason to pick the hotel as despite its historic appearance, it has modern amenities like a lift and air conditioning in all the main hall rooms. The room also came with a bathrobe for each of us which is lovely and comfy to wear and an added bonus.

The staff were all really friendly and hardworking, one or two even wishing me a happy birthday which was lovely. Bear, the resident cat, was also a pleasant surprise for us to meet when we arrived.

The restaurant looks out over the front grounds and serves amazing quality food, there is such flavour in every bite. The breakfast was plentiful and had a variety of options so everyone would like at least a few things.

The rose garden is lovely to smell but it does look over the next door home and the noise of the main road nearby means it's not very peaceful, not much can be done about this though and there is plenty to see inside the lounges of the hotel.

My partner and I came a few months back for our first night away together.
The rooms were clean, the service at the bar was brilliant and the food was amazing. Somewhere we are going to book again for a longer weekend.

A beautiful, historic hotel in a fabulous location, we stayed in a lovely room and had great food and service, would definitely recommend this wonderful place!

Beautifull place, once a home of a French family. Our room was in another building, was good. Breakfast was very good!

Beautiful building and rooms. I was lucky enough to stay in The Princess Louise Suite, which was gorgeous. Only issue was intermittent WiFi and the television lost connection throughout the evening at random intervals

Fabulous hotel with bucket loads of character. Set in lovely grounds with spectacular views of the Cotswolds. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the menu is comprehensive. Staff were very courteous and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Wood Norton for a complete getaway.

Fantastic hotel, from the moment we were checked in by the friendly and welcoming Beth we had a great time. The hotel has lots of lounge space with marvellous wood panelled seating areas to relax in. Spectacular grounds provide excellent places to walk and relax. We booked it for a birthday getaway to visit Evesham & Worcester and we will definitely be returning.

The bed may be the best I have ever slept on. The bath and shower are super comfortable, hot and powerful too! 2 massive wins when looking for a hotel.

We did get woken up at 5am by very loud bin men and someone delivering shopping but that was probably a one off. If not, the bed made up for it!

Would definitely come back.

Had a fantastic weekend at The Wood Norton. The atmosphere and staff are fabulous, as was the food.

Stayed here last week and was very impressed couldn’t fault the room ,lovely location but like many hotels the menu never changed all week which is disappointing. The staff were very friendly and would recommend a visit.

I have this last week stayed at the Wood Norton for the second time and I cannot fault it. The hotel is beautiful and the suite we stayed in was gorgeous and pure luxury. Breakfast is excellent with a load of choice all of a very high standard and the restaurant menu for dinner was delicious. Service is fab with a special thanks to Paige the manager who made sure our stay was just as we wished. Cant wait to come back again in the future.

The hotel was amazing! It was easy to locate your room especially being on the top floor since there was an elevator.
The rooms were very tidy with an impressive king sized bed and lovely views.
The staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to asking questions.
The food was very well presented and had a lot of taste and was also served in good time.
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to get away or for an event.
