Cambridge Cherry Hinton Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

This is a very well run, clean and friendly caravan and motorhome park. Nice and quiet, with a lovely dog walking area right opposite the site. 2 pubs serving food within a 5 minute walk and a 25 minute bus ride into the city centre of Cambridge. I would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely weekend in and around Cambridge and Cherry Hinton.

This site is well maintained with colourful planting. All staff are welcoming and very friendly. The facilities are immaculate, modern and very well maintained. Access to Cambridge is easy. We travelled by bus. It takes around 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop outside the site. The number 01 or 03 takes you to the city centre in around 20 minutes.

Great small site with friendly staff. Bus stops near by to city centre or Tesco superstore very close. Shower block clean and warm (visited in Oct) and other amenities close by.

Cannot book in before 1pm. Toilets and showers clean. Plenty of space between pitches. We'll maintained site. Very convenient for access to Cambridge (via local transport). Information room well stocked.

Second visit. All perfect again. The hosts are very friendly and nothing a problem. Every where clean and spotless.

What a lovely find this site is. We only had 4 nights here as stopped off on our way from staying in Norfolk back to Sussex. Really wish we had longer as its so central for visiting the area.
Very dog friendly with a nature reserve opposite the site set in one of the old chalk pits, perfect for a quick dog walk before setting out for the day.
We were on pitch 13, which has a lovely grassy area for our dog to relax on & plenty of shade, it was hot. she's a collie & spends, most of her time outside.
Not all the pitches have as much space though & a lot of them can't have awnings, so choose wisely.
Facilities spotless & well appointed.
The wardens we're very friendly & helpful.

Very clean facilities, very friendly staff, they even had the perfect place for us when we asked for a secluded space because of our dog. Be careful with the entrance, very busy street, but the site is not noisy at all. Get a bird identification app for your mobile, there are many interesting birds (as well as in the chalk pit on the other side of the road).

Camping and Motorhome Club site situated on the edge of Cambridge near Cherry Hinton. Cambridge is easily accessible via buses which can be caught about 5 mins away. It is walkable into the City Centre but about 45 mins to an hour. Uber is about £13 from City. The site itself is very well kept with spotless toilets and showers. Many great pitches for all types of van and tent.

This is a lovely caravan site in a disused quarry. The location is near Cambridge. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and well worth a visit.

Last minute booking, the staff were friendly and accommodating, facilities were of a very high standard, kept well and clean. Would definitely return if in the vicinity again

Beautifully kept generally quiet site. There is some noise during daytime hours from the neighbouring sports facility (5 a side football pretty permanently on) but it's not obtrusive. It's just 'there'. Pitches well spaced out but some of them are really very small if you are expected to get car van and awning all on the hardstanding.

Lovely wooded site location situated just outside of Cambridge. Easy access to Cambridge via bus stopes than 5 mins away. Walking distance to local shops and pub.
Downside is its next to a sports centre so can here lots of high energy voices and ball sounds, although present not unlivable during my stay.

Lovely campsite with great connections to get to town by bus.

Surrounded by nature, saw some deer from the comfort of our campervan.

A friendly welcome as soon as we arrived. It was brilliant to be told which pitches were still vacant saved a lot of time driving round the site looking for one. Toilets and showers were very clean and well kept which also makes for an enjoyable stay. Will definitely go there again. Having the bus stop nearby was a major plus for us.

Lovely welcome from the dedicated staff. This site is great for anyone wanting to visit Cambridge which is walkable from the site but better still by bicycle. Plenty of safe scenic routes in the area from Cherry Hinton.
This site is spotlessly clean and well maintained. We had an all weather pitch with electric hook up. Our pitch was in a circle of around 10 pitches. The lay out is good as it never felt very busy even when the site was full.
Motor home service point was easy to use. Well maintained toilet/shower block operating a policy of only 2 allowed in at a time due to Social distancing guidance. We stayed for 3 nights and found the social distancing procedures worked well.

Very clean toilet block staff are great, whole site well kept. Chalk Quarry reserve great for dogs, plus two pubs and shops within easy walking distance. We walked to the City centre

Well placed site on the outskirts of Cambridge with good bus service in, out and around the city. About 3 miles from the city centre. Usual, reliable, clean, good quality services that you would expect from a C&MHC site. Our stay was enhanced by the friendly welcome from the cheerful and helpful site warden.
