I've been going to Harry's for about a year now, and I can say that I am happy with the services he provides for parcel handling and the range of products he offers in his store.

Both Harry and his employees, Sean in particular, have always extended courteous treatment to me and to many others as well as I've heard them calling customers by their first names. I think interactions are two ways. Sometimes, people can leave a surprising first impression, but I've never personally encountered some of the behaviours others have mentioned. It's a convenience store that I will continue to visit.

Amazing shop, one of the best convenience stores I've seen... it's more like a mini supermarket! The owners are so lovely and friendly, always willing to chat and brighten your day. You can find everything here, wouldn't want to shop anywhere else! And they stayed open throughout the entire pandemic, regular hours, which was such a massive help for the community! Overall great experience :)

A NOTE FROM THE OWNER:

All the customers complaining about parcel service do not realise that there could be a problem with the machine... we are a convenience store with an added parcel service but nothing is in our hands if machines are out of service... very sad to see people giving negative comments during panedemic rather than appreciating the store and services to be open throughout. 99.9% of our customers appreciating us being there it's only Hermes parcel service customers have issues as they have been refused to drop their parcels off either due to health and safety issues or for things beyond our control.
These customers are demanding one to one service during covid when we are told to stay 2 meters apart and it's not possible for us to come and help each customer to print their labels. We are same as rest of the country following health and safety guidelines.
This is the service we provide is for convenience but not in any way to take priority over our customers who come and buy groceries and other services. We try to give the best customer service and this is the reason we have our loyal regular customers for last 8 years.
Every customer who has put negative review is Hermes customer which makes it very clear where the problem is, it's not the service it's the people who do not treat others with respect for them we need to make sure we spend all the time with them and ignore everything else. I had people swearing at me and shouting at my husband and staff which is not mentioned in their reviews. People forcing us to take parcels when we have no storage space left. We get regular customers bringing 100+ parcels who never had any issues with the service. Every day we see 40-50 Hermes customers and during earlier months of panedemic this number was double only customers who had problem were these Hermes customers???

Surely problem is not with the owner's attitude it works both ways. I am sure Repeating the same thing for 12 hours each day to explain to your customers while they are being impatient could get too much for anyone

Every Hermes parcel shop has its own capacity depending on the size and storage of each store which is not mentioned on Hermes website and we can only explain once you bring your parcel in. We cannot take large parcels as we do not have storage facility for such parcels, if Hermes printer is out of service we cannot fix it we have to wait for an engineer, in the middle of the pandemic there weren't many ppl working hence the printer was out of service. But Hermes customers do not want to know the reason they want to storm out of the door to write a comment and spoil someone's image for the sake of a parcel not understanding the reason why it was refused.
Thanks for all our customers who have supported us throughout this most difficult time and appreciated us for being there for 13 hours a day selflessly working hard without a single day off since March. Thanks to our customers for being loyal and supportive for last 8 years we take pride in the best customer service and always trying to improve it. Thanks once again🙏🏼

Return the Amazon parcel without any problem. The staff is very easy to have a chat with! The shop is also well stocked and very decent price :)

I absolutely love this shop, every time I go there the owners are always so friendly and will talk to you, the customer service is amazing and they have a brilliant selection of food and drinks available at a low cost. They also are the only place I’ve found that sells my favourite childhood sweets 🤤 Trust me when I say it’s a brilliant shop!
