We took our caravan, hooked up to the electric. Great field with flat outlook over the Cambridgeshire countryside. Will definitely be back. Many thanks

Excellent site. Never met the owners (I think they were away). Toilet & showering facilities were fab. The site is very large & very quiet, so you have ample space to pitch up. There is a lovely pub within walking distance (about half a mile) where you can have a lovely meal (with your dog, if you have one). It was called the Crown & Punchbowl. Cambridge is 3 miles away & is easily accessed via public transport.

Beautiful campsite, excellent facilities, excellent communication! Gayton was one of our pit stops during my ultra marathon and they were very supportive of our irregular hours and even sponsored me!!!

Love this place. Clean facilities. Really helpful and pleasant owners. Good base to explore from. Some glamping available which looks lovely and well thought out. We stay in our tent or camper. Lovely views over the fields. Reasonable price. One to go to again.

Very well maintained, quite at night, good chemical loo disposal. Easy cycling into Cambridge down the river all the way. One fully serviced caravan pitch 😊. I did not use the on site loo, showers and washing up area but they were very clean. Very friendly and helpful owners. Thank you!

Booked here last minute for a night in Cambridge, we were warmly welcomed by the owner upon arrival and shown to our site, the campsite has some of the cleanest toilet and shower facilities I have experienced at a site! When we tried to leave the next morning we experienced a vehicle problem that the owner was quick to help with and get us on the road again! excellent value for money compared to other sites!

Very small field on farm so lovely and quiet. Has 2 decent toilets and 2 showers with wash block. Can buy bag of wood for £5 and borrow one of the firebowls there for free. Good for kids and felt safe with views over fields with cows and horses

Been several times and love the place. Facilities are simple, its a field with 2 separate toilets, shower and washing-up facilities. The usual water, electric and waste water facilities. Always clean and very helpful owners. Already re-booked to go back.

We booked this site due to it's location as we were attending a wedding at the village pavilion.
We had a fantastic weekend and absolutely loved the site we didn't need ehu but it is there if you do.
There is a beautifully kept toilet block with a generous sized toilet room and shower room with washing up facilities.
The field is flat and all grass with more than enogh room for a 5 van site.
The owners are friendly helpful and accomodating.

All of the above was helped along by one of the nicest weekends ever in May.
Highly recommended. A+

A lovely few days spent in the Glamping Dome which was fantastic. The dome was beautifully presented when we arrived and Carolyn and Robin went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and stress free. The location is wonderful, just a short drive from the local Tesco and a short cycle from Cambridge itself. There's and abundance of open space around the area with lots of potential for walks etc. Highly recommended.

Absolutely excellent. Wish we were staying longer. The field is mainly flat with plenty of EHU, some are fully serviced too. The toilet and shower are nothing short of fabulous with a lovely inside dishwashing area too. TV reception is perfect too!
It's peaceful and quiet with just a tiny amount of distant road noise. All in all its fabulous!

A really lovely site for approx. five tents/caravans/motorhomes, with warm and friendly hosts. You are free to 'do your own thing' and there are no pesky wardens to worry about. The bathroom/toilet is of top quality and stands out for a certified site. We'll be back! :-)

Lovely place, friendly and helpful owners, nice clean toilet and shower blocks, simple site near Cambridge to get away from it all. View over the fields. Stayed here for a couple of nights in a tent with my 2 boys who enjoyed themselves, especially toasting marshmallows on the fire pit provided (on request). Nice walk to Anglesey Abbey across the fields via Stow cum Quy Fenn for a day out and picnic.

Blissful farm glamping/camping on edge of charming village with 2 pubs, cafe & bookswap in disused phone box, a few miles outside Cambridge so best of both worlds. Stayed in Dome 1 for 2 nights in August so didn’t use the lovely logburner but loved the outdoor fire pit at night and outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ by day. Comfy double bed, pillows, throws, en-suite and fluffy white towels to boot. Low key, lovely hosts, Robin & Carolyn have thought of everything. Not felt so relaxed in months. Would recommend & return without hesitation.

Glamping is beautiful und unique! We loved the Primrose with all its details. Outside we had a fireplace and a private view. Waking up and looking on the fields and sheeps was gorgeous.
The owner is also extremely friendly and helpful. And the farm is close to Cambridge, 15 minutes by car to the center.
We enjoyed our stay and were sad as it ended.

We booked dome 1 for a short, local (42 miles) holiday for a family break because our main holiday had been postponed due to the current pandemic circumstances. It was perfect! Just wish we’d booked for longer! Once we were there we didn’t feel it was local - it was rural and peaceful and we felt ‘away’. The children really loved petting the resident horses, we enjoyed walking in the countryside, evening barbeques and roasting marshmallows on the firepit. The dome was immaculate with excellent facilities. A real bonus to have an en-suite inside the dome! The outside kitchen was well equipped and we used the bbq traditionally and also used the gas burner attached to cook using a pot and frying pan. The Park and Ride bus is less than 5 minutes away and takes you on a short trip into the City of Cambridge. We stayed an extra night under canvas in the camping field as we didn’t want to leave! (...semi-planned - we brought sleeping bags etc. and played it by ear.) The shower block was immaculate, home from home. The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and return!

Great small campsite. Although small this site has all you need whether you caravan, use a campervan or motorhome or use a tent. The site is run by a very friendly couple who do their best to make your stay memorable. The site has several electric hookups. It also has a small building containing one WC and one shower (both kept very clean) and s sink for washing up. The site is about 3.5 miles from the centre of Cambridge. Parking is expensive in Cambridge but buses and a train from nearby Waterbeach are both cost effective.
