Went here for for a wedding two weeks ago. The church service was upbeat and modern, with a good Christian message. The music was beautifully chosen and well played. Refreshing to see a young vicar who was dressed in a suit giving such a good address. There are toilet facilities should you need them. The church is an eclectic building which l think would appeal to most tastes.
Overall felt the service was one that would appeal to most people today, without overbearing religious ceremony and one where you would hear the message of Jesus!

I’ve been going to stag since May 2022 every week and every Wednesday as a relatively new Christian and I think it is a really good church. I’d only been to small student churches and tried C3 too but I think that Stag has everything. The small groups are welcoming and easy to make friends with people my age but they make sure there is something for every demographic here and the teaching is very close to the Bible.

A great church where less ceremony and more bible teaching focused. Some great evangelical teachers. Not all churches are rhe same. A friendly place full of sinners who welcome each other and thank God for Jesus's sacrifice to save us from our sins and hopefully give us eternal life.

This is a super church, it is arranged very much around a small centre stage and tightly packed. There are balconies and the though the area is not huge, the volume is, and the number of people in the congregation can be great. Although in Covid-19 times it is obviously not packed out. When I have been there in normal times, it makes me think of what every church on earth is supposed to be - a pointer to the gathering of everyone around Jesus in heaven, worshipping together. The dimensions of this building accurately allow this intended symbolism to be felt in a great way.

I was here for three years as an undergraduate, and this Church benefited me enormously. The Bible is preached faithfully and fearlessly, and they are prepared to tackle even the most counter-cultural passages head on.

The Church family is really welcoming and supportive. I made some of my closest friends at this Church, and there is a real culture of openly talking about the Bible. The Sunday services in particular are great for people who have never been to Church before: they are only an hour long, and the service leaders are very good at explaining what is happening.

Because it is such a large Church, you do have to make a bit of an effort to form deep friendships - it is is easy to have great chat after a service then not see the person you met again for three weeks! For students, I would really recommend the Tuesday night Bible study group, Focus, to get to know people better.

Yes, a 'Great' church. A warm community with Christ at the heart, faithfully growing Christ's disciples through sound Bible teaching and connected community life. A clear mission to the university, and yet a place of love for everyone.

Really welcoming. Popped in for a cup of tea whilst shopping on Saturday. Very chatty volunteers who make you feel at ease. Willing to pray with you if you feel comfortable with this but don't push the Christian message too much.

St Andrew the Great (or StAG from here on out) is a great Church in the heart of Cambridge. Always preaching true to the gospel and any event run out of the building is to reach the community around them.

A great lively and welcoming Church with a wonderful group of people, where many people get together and explore the Bible together; especially on Wednesday night 20's and 30's hub group.

While it might not be as famous as its neighbours, STAG has a small and close community. New members are always welcomed, as are people who haven't converted yet.
