B&Q Slough

One of the Best hardware and DIY store which has all the best products, tools and all you need to build a whole house. It’s very impressive how organised everything is and the staff is amazing and knowledgeable

Only giving it 5 stars due to how the manager Ritu, handled it, but overal poor service. I bought a piece of MDF wood, the first guy said my requirements might take 2 pieces, by the time I came back the next day I was informed they were able to do it with just the one. Came back as some measurements were off, was told by another guy (vinu, I think his name was) the pieces were to small to cut, so fair enough I bought another piece and was told by the same guy that they can’t cut it to my measurements, still, even though they were the roughly same as my Initial measurements, he was adamant that it was not possible, till I asked for a manager who looked perplexed and called another staff member to come and cut the pieces. The guy (Vinu, south Asian guy) just did not seem to want to do his job even after telling me to get new piece. Very dishonest and unprofessional service.

Tidy, organised with tranquil music. The garden centre section looked immaculate. The new speed bumps are way too aggressive, even driving at snails pace they hit the bottom of my car.

This isnan absolutely massive store and brilliant for either the Diyer or trade. There's a brilliant range of tools, parts, building materials, plants, fitted kitchen and bathrooms and much much more! The staff are very knowledgeable and always happy to help. Parking is free and plentiful.

Best shop for buying DIY type of tools, decorators, lighting, bathrooms, flooring, tiles and lot more. Rasonably priced shop with everything under one roof. Good deals available sometimes in store so watch out for those.

Ben is simply an awesome staff member. He cut wood i bought and had a great attitude, excellent customer services and he went the extra mile to look at the wood options I needed to buy, nails i was looking for, Spray paint i wanted to buy and some other items; he was very patient and deserves a promotion and a HUGE bonus! Thank you Ben, I really appreciate your efforts and patience. I am giving a 5 star because of Ben!
It should actually be a 2 star as staff on the tills who I should have recorded are always on their phone with earpiece on and never acknowledge, greet or respond to customers even when talked to and, I just found out that i was charged for 2 hedge cutters!? Mistake obviously made as person at till was not paying attention and we were so upset that no one at customer services could give us our discount even after showing them all the emails to confirm a discount if we sent over £30; we actually spent over £200 in the last 2 weeks and every staff we spoke to even after seeing the email and the code for discount were not able to action it. Quite upset with that and will chase it up. Ben; again I thank you for your excellent customer services, cheerful nature and helpfulness which made my day especially how awesome it was for my 4 year old son to watch you doing the magic of wood cutting! :) Lovely experience; i highly recommend you for a promotion and If appropriate, would please like this commendations by me to be reference to your HR record for future reference.

Great selection of products in this store, shelves were actually stocked up which seems to be a rare thing these days. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will be using this branch in the future.

Electric chimney and fire places and Christmas collection

We went to take advantage of the design and order service for our kitchen and bathroom and were really happy with the helpful, pleasant young man who steered us through the whole process. Would highly recommend!

Great selection of all your DIY requirements, staff are excellent and have time for your enquiry etc, which is helpfully. The wood cutting section helps so much with dealing with large wood sheets in a small car!!!! Been going here for some years, free parking.

Went in there for buying flower bulbs, they have excellent collection of many varieties at reasonable prices. Got many of them this time, there is also a large garden centre at the facility with good collection of materials to transform your garden into something you dream of at affordable prices. Very friendly staff who will help you find what you are looking for, not too busy on a Sunday morning which is also a good thing as we always want.
