As always great service.....I had Lui cut my hair, my Mate had Steve for a haircut, both did a great hair cut, knowledgeable and down to earth people. For me, the experience is the best in town. They talk to you and ask at every opertunity is the cut ok. Great service guys, keep doing it thanks Lui thanks Steve top top service .

Lui is an excellent barber and he always, without fail, entertains me with all his amusing anecdotes...some of which may actually be true! 😉

My 4yo needed a touch-up after an at-home haircut. He is afraid of the buzzer so he kindly did a great job with scissors. He was great with my son/ fast and very nice. The haircut looks amazing. Thanks!

Wanted to donate my hair so I visited Lui's for a buzz cut--the barber kindly offered the haircut for free & said to pass on the proceeds to the charity. Friendly staff & a nice visit!

I really don't understand why these guys have bad reviews as it put me off my initial visit. I went to one of the higher rated places on Google and left there absolutely fuming.

I walked straight to Lui's following my bad haircut as it was the nearest shop to the one I went to. I explained that I'd had a terrible haircut at a barbershop around the corner and all three of the guys in there came to assess and offered suggestions.They fixed it up, did what they could with what had been done and I left feeling a lot better.

I was in there for around 30 minutes. When I went to pay I was told it was complimentary, so I will definitely be returning here again.

I have been going to Lui's for 5 years. It was the third barbers I tried after moving here and some way ahead of the other two. As a rule its more a four star haircut but I felt the need to counter the crazy low ratings on google. Only advice I can give is to check out the styles of the guys cutting your hair, its a good indicator of their preferences and may influence the way they interpret your requests.

I live in Trumpington and usually cycle in to Luis when I need a haircut. I have always received a perfectly adequate, reasonably priced haircut here and the barbers are pleasant and competent. The occasional 'one star' reviews on this site are so far from what I have experienced that I suspect they were posted by competitors, not customers.

Lui is an excellent barber. I have no experience of his associates’ abilities because I always ask for him.

Friendly and professional. Great price considering the location. Owner in first line for cordiality and Salvatore was great with my son. It is never easy with children. They were great !

I had a very good experience at Lui's. Fast service, the guy was friendly and cut my hair well. Great value for money!

This is my go to barbers when I'm in Cambridge. You can book or do walk in if someone is free. It's cash only and there's face masks and sanitizer for the Covid stuff.

I live in San Francisco now, but when I come back to visit friends in Cambridge I always stop at Lui's to get a haircut, because I haven't found anywhere else in the world that does it as well.
