Fantastic shop. High quality shoes and knowledgeable staff. Purchased a couple of boots here and each experience has been brilliant. No hard sale approach, just genuine helpful staff who go out there way to educate about there products. On one visit I mentioned I had water marks (alcohol) on my boos and asked the best methods to remove. The staff kindly tried to remove the stains there and then but unfortunately couldn't as a result I left my boots with them for a couple of days so they could try a different approach. Collected today and boots are as good as new. All free of charge. Brilliant service. Thanks to the chaps in store.

This place is really exceptional for several reasons. First and the foremost the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the details of the shoes they stock, and are able to give expert advice on style, fit, and aftercare. They are professional and friendly, and they refreshingly put zero pressure on buying anything. They seem happy to help and share their passion for shoes with you.
Secondly there is a real breadth of the stock available and you are given plenty of time and assistance to go through it all if you wish! And lastly the shoes themselves are a fantastic collection of the utmost quality, and you are sure to find something that meets your needs. I have just bought my first pair of shoes from here and it is sure not to be my last!

Excellent shoe shop with a great collection of Loake shoes. The shop assistants really know there stuff, and you feel well taken care of. The only "problem" is that the shoes are of such good quality, you only need to go there every day couple of years or so!

These guys only sell high quality shoes. On the ground floor they display their current season stock beautifully and upstairs they have a great range of seconds. I've recently introduced my boyfriend to this shop and now his shoe collection just keeps growing.

Just bought a pair of Loakes seconds. A good price. The member of staff who served me was excellent. Helpful and knowledgeable and willing to give advice on both looks and shoe care. He really couldn't have done more.

Needed repairs done to shoes bought from here at relatively short notice (within one working week), the shop offered to take them to a repairs shop round the corner rather than to the factory so they’d be done next day - and completely free of charge regardless! Great service.

I bought a pair of Loake Deck shoes from North shoes, unfortunately the stitching came loose on one shoe.
The staff at North shoes were extremely helpful,they contacted Loake and arranged to send the shoes back to Loake and they posted me a new pair so I’d have them for my holiday.
Will definitely use this shop in the future 😊

My daughter had a "wardrobe malfunction" with her dress shoes, which failed immediately before her Graduation Ceremony. North Shoes came to the rescue! (The shoes were bought from a major chain store). The gentleman in the shop assessed the shoes and despite the shoes being "unfit" for use, made a perfect temporary repair which got us through the day without drama! Thank you so much! Great service!

Couldn't recommend this place enough! Very helpful, chatty, knowledgable staff, and equally great shoes. Understandably expensive, but some absolute gems of shoes here. Perfect all round

North Shoes are the place to go if you want Loake shoes in Cambridge. Current stock range displayed downstairs (ground floor) with attentive staff who know there stuff and help provide the perfect fit.
Upstairs is the 'seconds' section where you can browse through discounted shoes with frankly minor defects.
If you want english made quality go for one of their goodyear welted soles that last (from experience) 4x longer than any other shoe brand I've gone with.

Always a pleasure visiting, no hard selling, just genuine helpful staff who actually know what they're talking about. Even without the colour I wanted in stock, they took my address and tried their hardest to get them to me as quickly as possible.
