Just had a lovely Sunday dinner with the family. We were so well looked after. My 3 year old ate all his food, including the extra Yorkshire pudding and gravy. He loved the playpark. My mum, who's in a wheelchair, really enjoyed her veggie roast and watching her grandson play. The portions were great and reasonable priced. It's our second time coming here within a year and both times have been great.

The place has changed hands and the food is first class. My wife had a very tasty pie of the day and me a great burger. Nothing fancy, but I've had some good and bad burgers....one of the best here.

We called in today for Sunday dinner and had the turkey roast dinner which was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and Debbie could not do enough for us and the other customers on the other tables.

Would highly recommend as a great stopping off point if you are tired and hungry and want a warm welcome.

Called in for Sunday lunch on our way to Bowness and was really happy with the food. I had a small chicken dinner which was plenty for me and my partner had duck. All served up with nice friendly staff.

Overall a very nice experience where our dog was made very welcome. The Rooms were comfortable.

The Breakfast Omlettes are to die for. The full English breakfast was nice too

Staff were overall very friendly, access to the residential side was very good so we could take the dog out as required

If travelling in the Lakes I'd reccomend this place for a stop over

Called in for a meal on our way home from a trip to the Yorkshire Dale's. Have visited here a few times and have never been disappointed. Debbie and her staff are always friendly, polite, efficient & helpful. Always welcoming 🙏. Service is great, nothing is too much trouble. Love the location as its just off the main road but far enough away for it not to be a problem. Can't comment on the rooms as we have never stayed over, but if they're anything like the rest of the hotel, then I'm sure they'll be perfect.

Popped in for something to eat and drink. Food nice, staff very pleasant. Prices were a lil on the expensive side but we were in a tourist location so I expected it to be higher than where I live. Very nice though

We have stayed at the gilpin bridge inn for a week. What a fabulous place... Exceptional food and staff. We visited all the sites and came home each evening for tea. Great choices for tea, all yummy.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back again. Thank you to Claire, Scott and Jordan who were brilliant... And spoilt us all week. 👍

Went to this hotel for a hiking weekend and it was a great location for us. Surrounded by the beach side 30 min away and some national trust treasures.

We loved the greenery and the staff was lovely (and the hotel was pet friendly )so we don't have anything bad to say!

Booked to stay here at the last minute and so glad we did, what a fabulous place. Lovely room, friendly staff and really tasty food. And to top it all, they helped to rescue a gorgeous little stray cat who wanted to adopt the Inn as her home (we named her Twiglet!) 😻 would highly recommend and would definitely stop there again
