Central Co-op Food - Brimington

I bought the chocolate home baking icing. Unfortunately it was moldy when I opened it even though the expiration date was January 2024. I'd not got a receipt at the time of purchase so wasn't sure if I'd be able to exchange it so i called the store and spoke to Alex, he was very helpful and I was able to exchange the moldy icing for a new one which wasn't moldy. Alex was very helpful on the phone and in store and is a credit to the branch

Easy access for a pram and wheelchair, the aisles are bigger than you would normally find in a small convenience store.

Perfect for when you have run out of something but don’t want to travel all the way to the big stores.

They’ve also now got some self service checkouts which are great for the busy times.

There’s a new coffee and slush machine in store which is self serve and then pay. We have tried the slush machine and it appears clean and easy to use.

Only slight downside is that for several days they had ran out of labels for the Yodel delivery service and they weren’t able to advise when they’d get a delivery of labels.

Just been into the shop for a few items. Lynn was so helpful. I always find the assistants are all very friendly. Nice little local. Always have the item I’m looking for.

Great shop. Always plenty of stock. The fresh bread here is really good.
The store is very clean and well laid out.

It's the best Co-op that I've visited in all honesty.

Great local grocery store. Very clean, well stocked and prices are good. Lovely baked bread and rolls. All the staff are helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend shopping there.

Good local shop, staff are courteous and it stocks most of the little bits you may need in a hurry. Also fairly well stocked and labelled vegan products.

Nice local food shop. Staff very pleasant. Little car park round the back.

I havd a very deep cut on an accident on a finger. Proper hospital grade plasters avalbe. Thank you .

Good stuff

What can I say, it's a Co-Op store. It's everything you would expect for a local Co-Op convenience store. It is however, slightly larger than others I have visited.
It's well laid out, always well stocked with lovely, local staff.
There is one member of staff. I don't know her name. I hope she won't mind me saying that she has passed her 40th birthday (I think !!!!) I mention her because she is wonderful. If no one is waiting to be served, she would talk you to death. She is funny and just a lovely lady.
I hope she gets told about this review. I've been too shy to say anything to her or to her manger. So, if she gets to read this, I hope she continues to work there. If only more shops had assistants like her

Good shop, most things are usually stocked and are well priced, despite the shop being rather small. Staff are friendly. Queues can get long in here though, as sometimes only a single till is open.

Nice store, stocked well, a bit pricy as all coops, but it's fine. Staff is well behaved.
