We are definitely Lidl converts.
The wekly bill is cheaper than Asda and most of the food is at least the same, with many things being better quality.

The only downsides are the amount of choice, the fact they don't have a scan & go option and the till workers still chuck the food at you like it's an Olympic sport!!

Castlebeck Lidl was completely rebuilt to new standards after a long term closure, however Malin Bridge Lidl is the most modern Lidl store in Sheffield. Lidl has changed the experience for the British shopper and given the big supermarkets a few challenges!

Since new tills were installed in 2016-17, the speed of service and particularly staff reaction to change in demand via headsets, means you will be checked-out very quickly.

The range of products and weekly specials is quite exceptional. Personally we love the continental range that changes frequently, it spices up the weekly shop!

Good place to buy weekly shopping

I have been shopping here for a long time and I have always liked this supermarket. The staff are very friendly, the products are diverse, and the prices are not very expensive. For the inflationary life, this place gives us enthusiasm and satisfaction in life.

Shop here from time to time, but prices are not much lower than other stores for the items I buy.

Get all I need from here, sometimes got things that nowhere else has,which is good.

Absolutely love this store. Always fully stocked, immaculately clean and very friendly staff. My only niggle is all of the baskets on wheels have a terrible squeak !!
