Great place, so well planned out and the whole day is an experience. Staff are friendly and food inside is not too pricey. Water stations throughout the grounds too, the jousting and falconry are truly amazing and a great effort has gone into the shows.

Wow what an amazing day we had. We watched the 'war of the roses' reenactment on arrival and it was very professional and entertaining.
We then watched the amazing falconry display. I have to say, I have seen a lot of bird shows and this just blew me away. To see the giant Andean Condor swooping over our heads, and the finale with a dozen or so Falcons flying around our heads all at once.. absolutely amazing show.
The inside of the castle is awesome. The suits of armour, artwork, old original furniture etc.
The cafe and food outlets were very quiet on the day we were there (thursday) as the large parties of children tended to eat packed lunches. Food and drink prices were very reasonable too.
One warning. If you intend to go on the ramparts there are 500 very tight steps to negotiate with no turning back. These can be very tight and claustrophobic for some and very disorienting at times. The views however are worth it if you are up for it.
One negative was the £7 parking fee. A bit steep I feel after paying the price (£25+) for admission

This is an absolutely great day out! Beautiful castle within beautiful surroundings, and no shortage of things to do. Children and adults alike will have a great time here. Walk through a timeline of history from the great hall inside the castle.
The dungeons are hilarious, there are a lot of jump scare moments, but what do you expect.
Take a walk up the Princess Tower or stroll around the beautiful Peacock park. Ideal place for some fantastic photo opportunities.
Food and drink prices are something to be desired, with a bottle of water at £2.75 and ice lollies at £4.
Couple of toilet blocks on site and a cool place for dining.
Highly recommended. We will always revisit.

What a great experience, we had a great time there, many attractions, many things to see and to do, the falconers quest is a MUST.

We spent around 6 hours there, and we enjoyed every minute.

If you were planning for a day trip, I highly recommend this place.

A great day out. The grounds are beautiful. Peacocks roaming. The falconry display was wonderful, and it's not just a boring talk. There is beautiful music, the birds look like they are swopping to the music and a story. Jousting amazing, the horses are great and the horsemanship is amazing. Actors are very good it is excellent. So much to do. Inside the castle too it keeps on giving.

This is an absolutely fantastic day out for the whole family. The castle is very impressive and one of my highlights has to be the incredible falconry display, all I will say about that is, make sure you stay until the very end.

A great day out when all the shows are on - we spend the first 3 hours watching the live shows, before even heading inside the castle walls. The Jousting show was excellent.

Absolutely fantastic place to visit with children.
Arrived before 11am and were leaving at 5 and still didn't do and see all there was!
The War of Roses Jousting show was highlight, it was truly world-class! Very well acted, written with atmospheric music.
The arena deserves proper bleacher style seats so that everyone can see the show. As it stands, the viewing areas are much too low to see everything fully.
Children absolutely adored everything Zog related, hunting for stamps to complete their books.
Finished the day at the playground by the exit.
Excellent place for family day out.
Highly recommended.
Visited during May half term.

Excellent day out for the family!

Amenities: there are food stalls/trucks spotted around the location. The pizza/hot dog food truck was good. I had a stone baked pizza and the quality was better than expected. The hot chocolate was delicious.

Toilets: there are toilets spotted around too however the best ones are in the castle, albeit a little difficult to get to. I could not find a ramp to take my pushchair with me and instead had to take my baby and changing bag down the stairs with me.

Great Hall: this was informative and entertaining. There are displays of plenty of armour and swords.

Falconry: the falconry display was excellent. There are some wheelchair/pushchair bays at the top of the hill. It happened to be the best spot as the birds swoop down from the handlers at that location.

Zog live show: the live show was thoroughly enjoyable for a young audience. The bean bag chairs for the little ones was a particularly good touch.

This was one of the best days out I have been on.
The place is spectacular and all 3 events are amazing, credit goes out to the staff and performers.
There are lots of activities to do and grounds to walk around.
I would recommend a visit this summer.

We make it a point to visit at least one castle when we visit the UK. This trip it is Warwick Castle.
It has got ample parking areas. There is a shuttle to bring visitors to the castle itself if you don't wish to walk. The castle itself is quite interesting, with rooms full of curios of medieval times. The grounds have activities suited for kids and are a good way for them to experience on a weekend. There are stalls selling food and seating areas, or you could sit on the grass. It is a great place to visit, however, be prepared to pay for parking.

You need to go to the Dungeon! Fun , interesting and worth the extra £6. Walking around the ramparts and going up the towers offers a beautiful view on the grounds and Castle ( 500+ steps, very narrow , not for elderly people). The castle itself is full of history through the centuries. Expensive day but great memories.

Original thought it was a lot of money.. how wrong I was! 2 free short tours and history lessons from Ben and George, who were outstanding. 1 free Falconry display that was amazing and a fabulous jousting show, amazing full and fun packed day. Thank you

This was a great day out we did half of the stuff available and it still took us around 4 hours the stairs to the top of the tower were quiet steep so I wouldn’t recommend to everyone but if able to it’s a great experience there was a lot of stuff to do on the ground level that was free and that was great for young children and there was places that were free to refill water

Absolutely brilliant day my children ages 4-5 loved it! Many activities to do, lots of beautiful grounds to explore and shows to see - the birds of prey were so cool! The Zog park and trail was great! We spent over 3 hours there but could have easily stopped longer it’s definitely a full day out if you have the weather - which we did. Interactive indoor things to see if the history of the castle. My only tiny point is that it seemed all shops and restaurants were Card only payment and my kids had spending money so make sure you take card instead of cash. We got to the stables car park at 10:30 and got the last space on a normal Monday so fills up fast. I would totally recommend a visit. So picturesque. We plan to return 🦅🏰🖤

It's a great day out, alone or in a group. The castle is big and very well preserved, although it's a bit disappointing that you don't get to visit all rooms. Actually, only the ground floor is open.
Around the castle, there are activities to do, especially for kids (archery, dressing up medieval style...).
There are also shows that are very well prepared and produced, and a great deal of entertainment:
- The Falconer's Quest will allow you to see a bunch of birds of prey up close and flying right over your head
- The Legend of the Trebuchet will demonstrate how an actual trebuchet works and how it's loaded and fired
- The Wars of the Roses is a jousting and sword fighting spectacle that explains one of Britain's most famous civil wars

This is a great castle. I went here while visiting the UK and was satisfied with my experience. This castle was ordered to be built by William the Conqueror, but the castle here today was constructed later. This castle has a small dungeon, large staterooms you can walk through, a tower you can climb up, a shirt movie explaining the history of the castle, ramparts you can walk on, and a garden. I gave this castle five stars because it’s a beautiful historic place. This is definitely one of the best things I did in England.
