Popped in for a quick bite and tea whilst waiting to see a play at the RSC which is 2 minutes away. The atmosphere is great, they really went all in on the post-War feel with ration book menus and the same tea set that my grandparents used to have. We had the savoury scones and the four tea blend, real leaf tea. The scones were warm and delicious served with cream cheese and relish. They left a timer to help you wait for your tea to steep - as a Yorkshire tea aficionado, the tea was good but even after the 5 minute timer and another 5 minute wait, it was only just getting strong enough. No complaints though - we were in for 45 minutes and I poured "one last cup" from the ample sized pot just before leaving and it was still piping hot, so the wait was not detrimental to the tea and probably good for the soul. The staff were great, really lovely and helpful people. My son had a massive slice of Victoria sponge and put both thumbs up to that too! Would go again.

Oh my... love this place! An enigmatic jump back in time to the 1940s era, with all the decor and ambience rightly in place. The menus are ration books, the contents are delicious, the teapots are... teapots!

An indulgent treat of a pot of Earl Grey with a slice of cake was fully savoured at leisure, whilst absorbing the feast of things on display as decor and "set dressing".

Staff are wonderfully polite and dressed for the time; both lovely touches often sadly missed by many themed venues.

We had a splendid time, after which one felt an urge to jolly well run for the steam train and head to the coast for a heap of sandwiches and lashings of ginger beer.

Should we return to Stratford in due course, we'll absolutely be back in to The Fourteas!

We visited Stratford this weekend all the way from Scotland and just loved this place. WW2 themed cafe, with great memorabilia, lovely friendly team and delicious food. It reminded me of my Dad and his tales of London during the war - it was a lovely trip down memory lane. We will definitely be back - thanks to the team for making us so welcome.

Where can you go that’s dog friendly (a beautiful covered outside patio) that’s got a brilliant vegetarian and vegan menu and has great service, fabulous food and attentive staff? Look no further than this place! It’s amazing!

We went for lunch for my dad's 92nd birthday and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The owner asked what was the occasion and was amazed at my dad's age and came out with a bottle of champagne on the house. My dad was very touched by his generosity xxx

Exemplary service - we were a large group and there wasn't space so they opened up a separate room upstairs for us! Couldn't fault the staff at all who continued to be attentive without intrusive, and understanding of dietary requirements.

It's a strange place - second world war themed but with a few anachronisms (a laptop out to play forties music!) It's a little pricey but that comes of being in Stratford and so close to the theatres! You have to buy tea by the pot for nearly £5, but it must be said it is good tea! Limited vegan options (two) but they're wouldn't have been any in the 40s so it's nice they made a concession!

People in our group ordered a variety of things from the ration book themed menus - some people just had a cuppa, others sandwiches, others a full meal and some even puddings, so a variety of dishes tasted. Generally very good feedback from the group, most enthusiastically about the sausages and least about the potato salad.

Really impressed by the service and the novelty was good fun.

Booked a table for 6 for afternoon tea here and from the moment we stepped through the door the service was impeccable 👌
We all had afternoon tea with prosecco (1 vegan) and could not fault a thing, excellent food and service and worth every penny. One of the best afternoons we have had and we have put them 1st place in our list of best places for afternoon tea, we will be back and can't wait. Thankyou to all at The Fourteas Tearoom you were amazing 👏

This is such a lovely tea room. The staff are always so friendly and despite being busy service was quick and we felt very liked after.

We had to wait for a table and what a treat….. we got to sit in the lovely bar. I had no idea!

5 minutes later we were sat at a lovely table by the window.

Our food was plentiful and tasty and served in very pretty china.

The choice of teas (and tea pots!) is impressive.

The decor is fascinating - so much to see!

Whenever we visit Stratford this is our go to venue for lunch.

I hear a new branch is opening in North London. How exciting!

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with music that matched the theme of 40's on a sunny morning.

The service was top notch 👌 the manager and waitress made sure to check in with us with smiles and some conversation.

The full monty breakfast was more than then I anticipated (hearty meal 😋).

The ambiance is simply amazing and well decorated.

Overall a great experience and I would recommend stopping by. 👍

A beautiful place with great nostalgic decor. Service is great and nothing a bother or too much trouble. The tea selection is fantastic. I had rainbow rooibos. And it does taste of marzipan. The gluten free carrot cake, best one I've ever had.

Food was excellent and drinks were out of this world. Teas were very good and my Bloody Mary was very good too. A taste of the Ritz in a tea room in Stratford Upon Avon. Will definitely visit again.

What an absolutely lovely tea room. We went here for lunch. I had the sausage sandwich and it was on lovely granary bread and the sausages were hot and flavoursome. My fiancée had afternoon tea with scones and said they were fantastic too. The decor and waiters and waitresses clothes were all themed and their manners were faultless. We actually sat outside in the little garden decking area and that was lovely too. I'd highly recommend a visit here, especially if you like you're afternoon tea.

I arrived just before 12 pm and it was quiet but soon started to fill up. I had a sandwich and fries with their blended tea. I also had a slice of Victoria Sponge which was excellent. The service was attentive and quick. I'll be going back.
