Bournemouth Airport

Although a small airport it was clean, well laid out and had all the facilities you would expect.
The men’s toilets were clean, although 2 soap dispensers were empty. I count find anyone to inform them.
There is a good bar which served food and coffee also. I had a very good English Breakfast which was obviously freshly cooked.
I would like to see a couple of water dispensers for filling water bottles.
You have to pay to drop off people, that’s a bit on the nose.

Love how easy this airport is. Everything is within eye distance. Duty free is ok. The pub serves food and drinks. There is also a WHSmith. But that is it.. bonus that it has a little outside area for smokers or if you just need fresh air. Stress free getting through security and staff are always pleasant. The only disadvantage is that the parking is disgustingly expensive. £5 for half hour or may even be 20 minutes.
All flat ground through from the carpark until the departure gates.

I thought the Pick Up & Drop Off Zone was worth a review of its own.

It’s a short drive (400m approx) from the traffic lights on the main road and just a few minutes walk to Departures. It’s informal (see photo), relaxing and I feel a great start to your journey.

Okay, it’s £5 for 30mins, which seems a bit steep, but that’s more than enough time to drop off your passengers and get yourself a something to eat and drink from the café in Departures.

There are two payment machines in the car park which are quick and easy to use.

The only bugbear for me is the last Exit sign is very small compared with the others you follow and, easy to miss.

I have been through passport control in many airports and can genuinely say that Bournemouth have the best. Always friendly always with a smile and seem happy to see you. Other airports could take a leaf out of thier books to be more welcoming. Well done

Very fast in and out. Super nice staff. Helped me with my case when saw me struggling with leg brace. Nice to be greeted by ‘welcome home’ when I flew back.

On the door step ...great regional Airport,downside is the £5 for drop off....well naughty and not called for.
Should be able to park or drop off for free😱

Excellent unlike previous occasions when I have met surly staff who clearly like me dislike getting up at 4am but they are getting paid.
However this time I was met with a super happy smiling lady who whisked me through priority. Keep it up.

Great airport, fabulous special assistance staff 10/10 this was in June 2023, unfortunately when I used the special assistance on September 3rd 2023 my experience was completely different. I was assisted at 1st by "Majic" who took me to the pre check-in cafe at 11 30, telling me he would return at 1245 to take me through check-in and security, however at 1330 I had to attract someone's attention to assist me , thank goodness for Kev from security who came to my aid and took me through to airside. When we reached there I was left with "Majic" again, I asked if he could help me to go to the restaurant area to get some water he declined saying I had to stay in the special assistance area. I then had to hobble to the restaurant on my own, so this time Bournemouth Airport special assistance scores 0⃣

Easiest airport to use I've ever been to, its small so you won't get restaurants and shops but this means it's not hectic. If you prefer a calmer experience this is the airport for you. Also, the fact that you can park and walk across the road into the airport is fab and when your plane lands you're driving out of the airport 15 minutes later! It makes the whole travel/airport experience less stressful. Not sure why people have given it low stars, it's great and my friends and family say the same

Inbound 22:50 arrival, fastest immigration ever and still gave a smiling welcome 😀. Baggage also super quick. 👍

Departing today, security not too busy, always friendly.

I got through passport control and baggage reclaim and out of the car park very quickly. What more could you want when returning home ?

A big thumbs up to the airport staff - especially the sweet parking lady and man who welcomed my family into the airport last week. Security/check in staff all very friendly with the kids and just left a nice impression compared to other airports. Keep it up guys!

It's a small airport but it's organized enough to receive tourists. kind and fast staff.

Landed in Bournemouth from Girona, Spain at 12.30pm and was in our car to go home within 15 minutes. Excellent service from all at the airport. So efficient that we'll be using Bournemouth again next year, hopefully.

Amazing staff today, i was very travel sick and they looked after me so well I couldn’t ask for more thanks to security and border force staff for helping me pass through as fast as possible.

Lovely Airport, it has a relaxing feel, you can relax in the bar area and the toilets are very clean. It's bright and airy. The staff are always friendly and polite. They are helpful when they saw an unusual shape in my bag at security and the situation was resolved quickly with a conversation and a smile all around. It was a pleasure to use this airport. The only surprise was a minimum of 3 pounds just for my brother to drop me off, that I feel is excessive and unnecessary.

This is an excellent airport to transfer from. No queues no cancellation no delays etc. There are limited destination options but it is a great airport nevertheless. Parking is available but quite pricey so one need to find alternative arrangements to airport. Duty free is amazing with abundance of offers on different drinks. Delays and arrivals are always on time or earlier than anticipated. There are places for goid breakfast and so forth. Also caters for disabled persons which is great. Great seaside experience. Vibrant shopping facilities in city centre. Lush and green. Lots of eateries & a beautiful Cinema experience 😀 💙

Great Airport, quiet, only a handful of flights in and out per day.
