Best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Fish was very tasty and cooked to perfection. Chips well cooked and crispy. Whole meal piping hot!

Excellent fish (cooked to order), not greasy at all and portion sizes are so large myself and my wife shared one order of large cod and medium chips so also made it very cost effective

The girl serving on Tuesday was the sort of person I would employ, she never stopped, using her initiative to keep herself busy. The fish was excellent, but the chips could of been crisper , but maybe it's the time of year for potatoes. They don't crisp so well.

Decent traditional fish and chips. Generous portions. Fresh ingredients. Pleasant service. Will be back in the future. Can easily recommend.

3 x large cod and chips , all cooked to perfection , lovely taste , freshly cooked to order, reasonably priced .Thank you will certainly be returning , would definitely highly recommend.

Always a great fish supper. Portion sizes are plentiful and chips are fried in lovely, clean oil.
The front of house team are so fab; polite friendly and kind.
Prices are what I would expect to pay for good quality products, taking into account all of the prices increases in fish, oil, staff wages and utilities that add to the cost of things.

Best fish & chips I've had in a long, long time. Cheese pasty a proper pasty aswell, not one warmed up in it's wrapper. Unfortunately we don't live round these parts so was a one off.. what a shame. Highly recommended👌

Just moved to the area and thought we would try the fish bar. Staff were very helpful and polite. The food didn't take too long to be prepared and when we got home the food was very hot and tasty. Will definitely be back for more

Huge portions of well cooked and fresh fish with equally large portions of chips. Massively popular on the night we visited so maybe phone ahead with your order?

Delicious fish and chips with tasty mushy peas. Medium fish was the perfect size although the large chips is enough for 3-4 people. Phoned our order through and collected 15 minutes later. Excellent!!

A great fish and chip supper. Queue was long but worth it and probably because the food is so nice.

Lovely food, service always good although can be a bit of a wait at busy times but then you know it's only just been cooked. Overall, very good 👍.

Only tried the chips which were lovely, but you can usually judge a fish n chip shop by the chips. Not greasy at all. 2 girls serving very friendly ... highly recommended.

Excellent freshly cooked food- normally a bit of a wait but it's well worth the wait - can get very busy- Husband and Wife owners are very welcoming and work hard - staff are very friendly and deserve a compliment - a very well kept and run chip shop not sure if the shop has been awarded a best chip shop of the year award but I reckon it deserves it ! Consistent quality and service top marks!!

Friendly staff, non greasy chips and tasty fish...what more could you want! You can also call ahead and book a time along with your order so when you get there it'll only be a few mins. Super useful.

Really like this chip shop, friendly service lush chips, only negative is if you order just a portion of chips & shop is full you still have to wait while they cook big orders..they waiting for fish & other things to cook could have done a portion of chips while they standing there waiting..

Just had great cod and chips. Excellent from the new owner - crisp batter, good quality fish and crisp chips. Same friendly serving team too.
