Insightful, friendly, welcoming museum with a bounty of boats abounding. A most knowledgeable tour guide, Luke, took us around and showed us the various pre-loved and newly refurbished boats. We got the chance to see the voluntary boat builders at work.
A great hour spent visiting and would recommend to anyone keen to get a better understanding of all things maritime. We went on a rainy day from Tenby area and was very easy to reach and perfect when not such great weather.
Thanks to the volunteers making such a great museum.

This museum is run by volunteers.
Went there on Tuesday 3rd January with family members while on my Christmas break.
Had a very knowledgeable guide named Luke who took us around the boat yard and museum, and answered questions we had.

An absolute gem with so much to offer.

The staff are all very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions as well as providing a free tour of the museum.

Not only are there multiple examples of local boats but a wonderful exhibit with various maritime items. From sextants to wheels to a working morse code machine. There are multiple activities for children and lots of information to discover for adults making it very family friendly.

Highly recommend. Takes about an hour or so to see most of it and it’s totally free!

Hidden gem! Free to enter and can take your time to look around, sit outside and enjoy the sun and view! So interesting, educational and informative. The vast collection of items makes you go round and round and still find stuff you missed! The volunteers were brilliant, Elsa the dog was too cute, the little remote controlled boats were a brilliant idea and we can’t wait to go back!

Thanks to the passionate volunteers for giving up their time not only to preserve an important part of the heritage and culture of Pembroke Dock, but to enthusiastically engage with my family and I during our visit on a Monday morning in February.

A hidden gem and a much more rewarding experience than I was expecting.

Free of charge museum with a lot of history about the local area. The volunteers there are great and super passionate about the heritage and the boats. Really interesting place, no cafe though and nothing particular close. So bring a sandwich. Will definitely return!

Good morning, I would like to know if anyone knows about the migration to Puerto Eten, Chiclayo, Peru. Looking for my ancestors I found James Morgan who arrived when the trains and the rail system arrived, apparently it was from Houghton, if anyone knows where to look for more information I would appreciate it. Best regards.
