Disability access all round, with friendly, helpful staff. Great little museum with lots of artifacts, articles and info on the air force and navy. Star wars exhibit on the Millennium Falcon was interesting too. I loved the cockpit of the sea plane that was accessible and looked like you were flying. You could sit in the seats too if you can mobilise. Had a lovely coffee and Welsh cakes in the cafe. Really enjoyed this museum, came out far more informed than when I went in. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area, or on hols in Pembrokeshire.

Had a wonderful private tour of the museum. It is a hidden gem of naval and aircraft history.
Every Star Wars fan should stop in and take in the exhibit of how the Millennium Falcon was built.
Worth going out of your way to visit

Went here for the what looks like an amazing millennium falcon exhibition. Absolutely gutted, the exhibition is no bigger than my living room. No original props etc. Everything on display can be summed up in one webpage. Don't recommend visiting unless you are interested in Pembroke dock history. Star wars complete let down. The museum in general very interesting.

Great little museum, much of it relating to the second world war history of Pembroke Dock as a base for Sunderland aircraft and the courage of their crews. We had a very interesting mini guided tour by one of the volunteers, Peter, which really brought it to life.

This volunteer-led heritage centre is a gem. The interpretations and exhibits are very well curated and the friendly volunteers brought everything to life by sharing information about Pembroke Dock's role in WWII. There is a particular focus on Sunderland Seaplanes as they were based at Pembroke Dock to support the Atlantic Crossings during WWII. There is parking outside the former Georgian Chapel and it is fully accessible for visitors with limited mobility, including a gently sloped ramp at the entrance and a wheelchair accesslible toilet. The small coffee shop offers hot and cold drinks, crisps, cakes and ice creams.

It is a fantastic museum with onsite retired UK navy providing guiding service. The place is not big but it will be better to spare a whole morning / afternoon to stay because there are also may models to study.

What a great little museum - we spent about an hour and a half and only saw about a third of the displays. Give gift aid and you can return often over the next 12 months. We are definitely going too!! Good tea and cake as well.
Very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable volunteer staff. Thank you😎

Enthusiastic volunteers man this wonderful museum charting the history of Pembroke Dock shipbuilding and it's association with the Sunderland flying boat during WW2. A Sunderland flight simulator is also available. Take the time to look around the many exhibits and talk to the volunteers. Very worthwhile.

We went for the Millenium Falcon exhibit which is a small part of it. Enjoyed all the info on the Sunderland planes, but what really made it was the Great staff, Peter and his wife were most entertaining. The teM also do a great coffee.

Brilliant little spot of local aviation history and dockyard history. The staff/volunteers were so welcoming and helpful.. also a bonus to any star wars fans the original millennium falcon was built in the dockyard and they had a little exhibition on the making of it... Brilliant artifacts and steeped in local history well worth the visit..

My partner is fascinated with the Sunderland plane and the history of pembroke dock and the surrounding area was well worth the 2 hour visit .

I was fascinated. There is so much stuff there. It is a well run, organised and stunning reminder of WW2, the Battle of the Atlantic and the huge contribution made by the Sunderland Flying Boat and it's crews. There is also a little known, but huge Starwars connection including a Darth Vader model.

A wonderful and fascinating place that's got some great military history.

Hat's off to all the hard working volunteers that have made this such a well presented and interesting venue.

I was really impressed about this museum. Firstly, it was a nice surprise that Pembroke dock town has connection with Star Wars movie - Millennium Falcon ship was built here and there is an exhibition for it. I didn't know a fact that world famous ship Erebus was built in Pembroke dock too. A lot of interesting information about the importance of Pembroke dock in World War II. I think those who are interested in naval history or aviation will love it. I took me about hour and half to look around and read the information. There is a cafe too.
